  1. That is simply as awesome as the beholder... errr Daedric (I forget).....
  2. That is the cat's ass.... The bomb diggity... I am flat out speechless... Cannot wait to see it in game.
  3. When I first started I gave my follower a few potions of heal and stamina and resist potions for fire, shock etc, but then I read that they do not use them, so I stopped giving potions. So you say that when the follower is on his knees and needs healing fast that he/she will use a potion if it is in their inventory? I am intrigued, I hope you are right , It should be tis way but not certain if that is the way this game works. You didn't quote the right guy but yeah... Followers will use the potions you give them. If for some reason they don't, note if it was player made or found/bought. Maybe they won't use player made? I haven't really looked either way.
  4. The mod Midas Magic has a force push spell ala Fus Ro Dah... and also a Force Pull spell... which is kinda what you are talking about. The only thing I can see is that you don't have the control with it that you do with Telekinesis. Maybe see how he did Force Pull and apply it to how the Telekinesis spell works?
  5. It downloads a masterlist that is constantly updated with the load order of mods. They work hard to keep all the new mods in and the old mods that change names (stop putting version numbers on your .esm/.esp files!). It's extremely useful to maintain load order among hundreds of mods.
  6. This will almost certainly affect your idea for the mod :( I'm sure it is a hump that will be gotten over but it is currently a hump nonetheless and affects anyone wanting to add new monsters.
  7. No reason not to have all three. It would make a quest line or dungeon more interesting to fight things with different types of powers and slightly different appearances. Not unlike the Draugr "line" really... and I agree.. it adds depth...
  8. +1 I love what you are doing. I've been playing and/or DMing since probably '79 so this is much anticipated. +1 on the mindflayers (Illithid) as well.
  9. Answers beside the folders in question. The question you need to ask yourself is what went wrong to put them in your root. (other than ASI, which use to go there). They should have been in Skryim/Data.
  10. My battle mage used heavy armor and conjured her sword. She would summon lords, switch to shield and summon her sword. I used a mod to up the damage on summon weapons so it was in line with normal weapons at higher levels. Had a blast.. even summoned the bow! I used very little magic other than utility (healing, magelight, candlelight, etc).
  11. I have not tried it but this is what my google-fu brings. You can use showracemenu to change a character name. If you just want to change your character's name, you don't have to make any changes to your appearance, just select 'Done' and type your new name.
  12. On this. How do you pick up a book without reading it? on PC. I haven't scanned many messages past this so if it has already been mentioned, I apologize. This isn't what he was talking about but to directly answer your question, you can have your follower pick it up then take it from their inventory. This is also a good tip because you can save those points for later when your really need them to boost your level, etc.
