  1. I fixed it by adding the lines to CreationKit.ini instead of CreationKitCustom.ini. Thanks!
  2. So I´m trying to tweak some companions' features and I can´t export meshes trough the Creation kit. I can export textures but I always get an error with meshes. The thing is, to fix it I am supposed to modify the [Debug] part in CreationKitCustom.ini file, which is supposed to be located in the Starfield main directory, but the file isn´t there. My question is: Can I create the .ini myself modifying one of the other .inis that do exist in that directory? Which one in this case? Or create it myself only with the lines asked in the error message? Does anyone have this issue?
  3. Does anyone know a way to retexture anything on Elex 2? Even changing some colours in some models? I had a couple of good ideas but I can´t figure out how to extract this game files to edit them or make any change to them. I can´t even find the archives to it. I there any tool or something? Thanks in advance :)
  4. Since there's no sky retex around here (at least I haven't found it) I've decided to retex the sky myself, because the original DS textures are completely awful. I've enabled texture dump, everything works fine, the loaded textures are all there... and there's the problem: vanilla textures are so horrible that I simply can't distiguish the sky textures :S There are two or three that look like clouds, but I'm not really sure, they are so blurry and pixelated... In Skyrim for example, textures are organized and have a name, but here everything is mixed up and named after numbers and letters... How do you guys know for sure which textures you need to modify when making a texture mod?

  6. I also think that she must be protected somehow, but I'm satisfied with the mod, it's almost done. I started it by request (I thought it would be much easier) and it finally became a question of pride :biggrin: Thanks again.
  7. Gasti 89: Her count number is correct, it's 0... I'll try deleting the chair where she is sitting, and loading another savegame in another pc. Thanks a lot for all the help you're lending me, I really appreciate :smile: If I finally get to finish the mod, I'm going to add your name as my assisstant. :yes: (Added later) Hahaha! Nothing of the above worked, but I had a different idea: if you can't defeat your enemy, then join her... I've turned Iona into a dog :laugh: It was not what I planned at the beginning, but now I have two for the price of one: Ivar walks as a man, and acts fully as the Housecarl, and Iona barks and guards my house :laugh: I'm releasing the mod in a few days, and you can be sure you'll be in the credits. A million thanks, I started the mod on march, and wouldn't have been able to finish it without your aid.
  8. It could work, I'm going to try it and I'll tell you. I think we are in the right path, but there is another problem now. I've duplicated my new Housecarl (he's called Ivar) I've deleted the original Ivar and placed the copied Ivar in his place. Now he walks as a man (aleluyah!)and does everything he should do... BUT (and this is a big "but") Iona is right there too, sitting where she was supposed to be if I hadn't deleted her 3 or 4 times! I feel like a complete fool, but now I'm unable take her away of the game. What am I doing wrong now? :wallbash:

I'll consider using the editor if I don't find other solution with the CK :smile: Gasti89, I've compared (three times or more) every feature with Argis and Jordis, so they all were just like Argis' (I was trying to change Iona into a man). I also checked out the animations, one by one, they were ok; I checked the skeleton animation ("skeleton" for males, "skeleton_female" for females) and it was correct too. I'm almost sure it's a CK bug, but there must be a way to fix it.
  10. I've tried with it checked and unchecked, and it doesn't matter, he walks just the same way. It seems to me that there must be something that must be exported or changed somewhere else, I don't know. I considered that it could be a bug because this problem does not happen when you turn a man into a woman. Nobody else has found this issue?
  11. I've been trying to turn one of the female housecarls into a man: I thought it would be easy, I changed the gender, weight, facial characteristics... everything. I checked every feature and compared it with Argis the Bulwark's and seemed fine. I checked the animations used, and they were supposed to be those of a man. But when I try the mod ingame, the NPC still walks as a female (he looks so gay, which can be ok, but that was the aim of the mod) I've searched for everything that could be wrong and I can't find anything. I don't know what I'm doing wrong or if there is a bug or something. I've also searched in forums topics, but I found no solution. Anyone can help me?
