I've been getting tons of 504 errors.
-
What I do is download and install mods with NMM then use Wrye Bash to add a Bashed Patch, edit my load order, check for master errors, etc. Most mods that have BAIN installers will also have NMM ones so you shouldn't have much of a problem using NMM for installing. On the off chance that a mod only uses BAIN though, you would just have to download and install the mod manually (again, it's super unlikely that any mod would only have BAIN installation). Personally, I haven't done anything more advanced with Wrye Bash than make a bashed patch so I doubt you need to spend too much time with comprehensive tutorials.

Crash Within 2 mins of running Heavily Modded Game.
BlahDog replied to HeinousHymns's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
You need to create it in Skyrim\Data\SKSE -
If it's still happening with a new game then it has to be another mod as well but unfortunately, I can't help much more. You can try the brute force method: -Start disable a chunk of 5-10 mods -Load your game and see if it CDTs -If it crashes repeat steps 1 and 2 until it does not -Re-activate the last chunk of mods you just disabled -Deactivate one mod at a time and run your game -Once it stops crashing you've found your culprit Unfortunately if your game crashes randomly, the problem mod may take time time (or just be generally hard) to catch. If none of that works: A) you might have more than one problem mod (sorry, more work) B) You new save might be compromised (beyond my help at least) you might need to start a new game (sorry again)

Even if you get rid of the mod, the script may still remain. To fix this you can try: -Adding the line "ClearInvalidRegistrations=1" to your skse.ini in your Data/SKSE folder or typing that into the Skyrim console every time you start Skyrim -Using this: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/31675//?

Did you download Wrye Bash? Editing the ini files from there worked for me when my log didn't work. Also a Bashed Patch would come in handy as I said earlier. But even without the log, I think you can try this: "add the line "ClearInvalidRegistrations=1" to your skse.ini in your Data/SKSE folder." from: http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/926585-skses-new-clearinvalidregistrations-feature/ It should get rid of miscellaneous scripts in your save. -
Unfortunately, script stuff isn't exactly my forte but if you have dirty edits you might want to clean the file with TES 5 Edit http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/25859/? (tutorial here: ) But check what is in your "40" position in your load order (you can use NMM plugins tab for that)

Crash Within 2 mins of running Heavily Modded Game.
BlahDog replied to HeinousHymns's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Try starting a new game and see if you crash after a while. If you don't crash then it likely has something to do with your current save and you'll have to upload your Papyrus log. To start the log open Skyrim.ini (My Documents/My Games/Skyrim) and add the following to it: [Papyrus] fPostLoadUpdateTimeMS=500.0 bEnableLogging=1 bEnableTrace=1 bLoadDebugInformation=1 And run your old save until it crashes. After the crash look under "\My Documents\my games\Skyrim\Logs\Script" There should be one (or some) files with names like Papyrus.0 Attach the file or copy and paste the the stuff in it here. -
Here try this to fix BOSS: http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/815030-boss-not-detecting-skyrim/ Not sure if it works but it's what I found.
-
Oh, yea that happened to me in the beginning. I can't remember exactly how I fixed it but try installing BOSS directly into your main Skyrim folder.
-
1-It seems like you don't have BOSS http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/6/? by the looks of your load order. Get it and run it. 2-Open Cities Skyrim is highly incompatible with a lot of stuff, I would recommend getting rid of it.

A few questions: 1-Have you run BOSS http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/6/? (I can't exactly tell from your mod list) 2- Is this after a new game or a current one? -If it is current when did this crash start to happen (did it start to happen after the installation of a certain mod) -

I recommend running Wrye Bash http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/1840//? and making a Bashed patch because of your various mods It likely won't fix your issue but it will likely fix a whole bunch of compatibility issues. -
Roll back your graphics driver. I had the same issue and that fixed it. Currently I have the 314.22 drivers.

Exactly! Leveling up stealth shouldn't make you better at sneaking (per se) but should give you more tools and opportunities to sneak. Unfortunately, TES series is unlikely to stray far from the 0-"God of All Things Sneaky" any time soon, but hopefully the AI will improve at least. Maybe if we're lucky, Bethesda might even learn from Dishonored and make stealth more like that.

Actually, I seem to remember something saying that setting ugrids to 7 actually helped performance or at least something other than aesthetics. I knew that ugrids affected detail at a distance so I was skeptical about how it could improve anything. Ultimately, I never saw an incredible decrease in performance so I just kept it on. I can't remember if that was before or after the freezes but I'll revert it just in case. Also, I already started a new game (only about 1 hour in) after I removed a few of my mods. Honestly I'm glad I started over, I missed out on a lot in the beginning.

Thanks for the replies. @prod80: I have sneak tools installed because skyre, while it does integrate it, nerfed it to the point where the creator of sneak tools said they were different. The creator also said that the two worked fine together as long as sneak tools was loaded after Skyre. Here are my ini files: On top of some misc. edits (like changing the crosshair location) I added some things that supposedly help with multi-threading and some stuff that would help with papyrus crashes (both after the freezing started). Neither helped with the feezing though, but I just left them in. Skyrim.ini Skyrimprefs.ini I've asked around on the Skyre forums and the creator said that the script issue wouldn't cause a crash but one user said that it was apparently a mod conflict because he fixed his problem after removing a bunch of mods (of course he neglected to tell me which mods he got rid of). So right now I'm in the process of getting rid of some of my mods hoping that my game finally fixes itself. Although with the freezing being random, it's hard to tell if my game is actually fixed or I just haven't gotten to a point where it would break again. Thanks for all the help.

I would recommend deleting both your Skyrim.ini and SkyrimPrefs.ini and having Skyrim make new ones. It likely won't fix your issue but it may help out generally. Also I, since you're going to reinstall all of your mods anyway, I would recommend looking at http://wiki.step-project.com/STEP:2.2.5. Even if you don't want any texture mods, STEP has many gameplay mods that are a bit more up to date than yours. Also, after you reinstall, don't use Open Cities. Disabling it may not have fixed your game immediately but Open cities is highly incompatible with just about everything.
-
To deal with this problem I just start up Task Manager and end the "NMM update finder" process (not the whole NMM process). Not exactly ideal but it works.
-
1.Disable Open Cities Skyrim.esp (that's probably you're problem) 2.If not that try disabling BWS.esp, I think I remember that one was causing me some trouble 3. -Disable all mods and see if the game crashes -Re-activate a chunk of around 5-10 mods and see if the game crashes then -Repeat step 2 until the game crashes and then disable the last chunk of mods you activated -One by one, activate the mods within that chunk until the game crashes and then you have your culprit Side note: It probably isn't causing your specific crash but your boss log shows that you have both "ethereal_elven_overhaul.esp" and "XCES.esp." Those are apparently incompatible according to Boss -> "ethereal_elven_overhaul.esp Active, Incompatible with: XCES.esp"

You could try: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/33526//? Skyrim precahe killer It may help.

I've been randomly freezing and I think Skyre is causing the bug, but every time I freeze up, the last entry in the Papyrus log is:"warning: Property xxxsneakTouchOfCalamity on script xxxMagicSneak attached to Active effect 4 on (FF001020) cannot be initialized because the script no longer contains that property"or:"warning: Property xxxsneakArcaneAssassin on script xxxMagicSneak attached to Active effect 4 on (FF001020) cannot be initialized because the script no longer contains that property" Since I know that Skyre adds these scripted effects and I don't know if any of my other mods might cause this, I can only conclude that Skyre is the problem (although I am not 100% certain)To try and troubleshoot the issue I have:-Started a new game (to no avail)-Uninstalled/reinstalled all mods (no effect here)I have not:-Systematically deactivated mods to find a culprit (Considering the crashes are completely random, I considered this a complete last resort because I don't want to play for a few hours (or more) just to find out I didn't fix the problem.) Here is my load order: Along with all of these mods:-I have a ton of texture mods-The Wilds ENB-SKSE is up to date-As is SkyrimThe most recent Papyrus log is attached. Could anyone offer some advice or a fix for my problem? Thanks in advance.

Would it be at all possible to... (Random Generation)
BlahDog replied to Cipherthe3vil's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
While this game doesn't have any village or dungeon generation, Starforge can generate not-so-blocky terrain. Of course, this type of engine can most likely only create landscapes, not generate meshes around it so you can have mountains but they will look more like large hills with a rock texture on it. This is all theoretically possible if Beth made a totally new engine but as a mod, it's near impossible.
