Just a shame theres no such thing as a paid Betheseda mod at the minute so your free market and its laws dont really apply to it

I don't trust them as far as I can throw them.If paid mods are introduced ill cross that bridge when it comes. Betheseda aren't the only company that produce video games and ill make that decision when and if it comes

maybe some can but the removal of a few or even a few dozen mods will do little to impact anything.The only way betheseda would take notice if they were nearly all removed and that is not going to happen as a large part of the mod authors see beth.net and its additional audience as a good thing

I cant control what other people do,but I do vote with my wallet after my fallout 4 experience I will never pay full price for a betheseda product again. And starting a thread in here will do very little to influence anything that happens because I doubt Zenimax executives are reading this

Nothing I do will change the course of what will happen,im just a simple gamer.But ill be voting with my pocket when its all done and dusted which is the only thing I can do

Your arguement is all speculation,nothing that you have stated will happen has come to fruition. Whos to say beth.net will not improve the modding scene in the long term

Paid modding aside boycotting beth.net is counter productive.How are Betheseda going to see the critism of what they are doing if no one is there

You can defend your position as much as you like Mitigate but the decision isn't yours.The decision lies with the people that create the content.You will just have to be happy deciding what you will do after they decide what they are going to do

Mitigate having mods isn't a right its a priveledge.If you don't like the direction the system takes its just too bad.You either decide to go with the flow or just move along. Ive been playing computer games for nearly 40 years and seen many things I don't like,i either accept them or just move along. Big companies care about nothing but money and little can be done to stop them and they are the ones producing the games so if you really don't like it that much just move along

Its pretty simple Mitigate,if paid mods are introduced by betheseda and you are so against them,just don't pay for them. I personally will not pay for any mods as there are no guarantees that they will work under any set up and I don't want spend my time chasing refunds.I enjoy betheseda games to a degree but they arent that important to me. If the mod authors prefer the paid for system,well so be it,its just the way the gaming industry has gone over the years. But ultimately the choice is your own.But at the minute none of that exists so its all just hyperthetical and all ive seen at the minute is betheseda try bring mods to consoles which isn't a bad thing and other than some mod theft,which can happen no matter the platforms or the sites,it has had very little impact on the nexus at all. Trying to bring mods to other platforms is no threat to pc users and at the minute the paid for mods are just smoke and dust. I see no point in boycotting beth.net even if its implementation has been nothing short of a bad joke.Hopefully they will learn and having another decent site to browse for mods cant be a bad thing

Beth.net is not being pushed upon anyone,you still have the freedom of choice whether to use it or not as well as the freedom of choice whether to buy Bethesedas games or not. Maybe if you feel that strongly maybe you should exercise that freedom of choice.

Beth can charge for whatever they like. Whether or not that ill pay for it is in extreme doubt. Their vanilla games are trash and I wouldn't pay extra to bring it up to the standard it should be to start with
