  1. Hey man, I have the same problem, only I have no mods, and am pretty sure that I have the latest patch. This happens for me at random intervals of time, usally the tell tale signs are frame rate jobs lower than usaual and my fan going faster. The game seems not to care what I am doing, I could be fighting, wondering or standing in a bar. (Though it has never done it in dialouge, if that means anything) It just happens. Hope this helps with tracking down the problem, because I would be very happy if it is identified.
  2. Thanks but canceling the order would make it so I don't get a compurer for another however long. But really the M11x is the most powerful computer for it's size, and as long as FO3 and FNV are playable ima happy camper.
  3. What type of problems, like lower frame rates or full blown system crash?
  4. Why most likely not, cause I just saw a video on YouTube o some guy doing Take It Back, with the processor at 1.7ghz. So what reasoning do you have. (Sorry if that sounded a bit mean)
  5. I ordered an Alienware m11x with a intel SU7300 core 2duo processor that works at 1.3 ghz (overclockable to 1.7 ghz). It also is coming with 4GB of RAM and a 250 GB Hard Drive, also a nvida 335 gT or something like that(feel free to correct me) I was wondering if 1.3ghz is enough to play FO3 or if I should risk OCing to get 1.7 ghz. Thank you for helping!
  6. Oh, thanks, but it is pretty much a done deal. Plus I needed a small computer that I could do school work on and be able to play games like FNV, FO3, and Oblivion. Back to my original question: So you're pretty sure I'll be able to Run FNV okay even with the processor?
  7. Hello I ordered an Alienware M11x with 4 GB of Ram, a 250 GB hard drive, and last and probably least, an 1.3 ghz intel core 2 duo processor (overclockable to 1.7 ghz). Now I am worried, due to the requirements of the game, that I won't be able to play Fallout New Vegas smoothly. So I am asking you, will I, even with the weak CPU, be able to play FNV at all? I have seen one promising video on YouTube, but a lot of discouraging things as well. I am hoping someone will be able to give me a straight answer.
