After the Mistlands update me and some friends wanted to get back into Valheim. Naturally we wanted to use the mods we had from last time. Among these mods are the Hookgenpatcher. As far as we are able to determine none of the mods we use has this one as a requirement, but we still used it last time we played. The problem is that when we install it the game will not launch. The mod page itself has no means of commenting on it, the comments section appears to be disabled, and the mod has no been updated for a year. So my questions are as follows. What does the Hookgenpatcher actually do? Since none of our mods requires this mod, is there any reason for us to install it since it causes crashes?

Yeah I ended up just going manual install and it's working fine. I figured using a mod manager would make it simpler but Vortex is in my honest opinion convoluted at best to use. I tried using a mod manager called Thunderstore that was working fine. However when I found that it has video ads, even though only a few seconds, I dropped it like a hot potato. I'm very particular when it comes to ads of any kind.

I wanted to install a mod for Valheim, but when using Vortex I can't get it to work. I never used Vortex before because I find it convoluted and difficult to use, I always used the old Nexus Mod Manager which I found to be far more user friendly, but that does not support Valheim. But to the point. I wanted to install the unrestricted portals mod to be able to move metals through the portals, but as I said I can't seem to get it to work. Bepinex is installed and everything seems to be working when I launch, but when testing it ingame it simply does not work, I can't go through a portal when carrying metals. I have no clue as to what or where the problem lies, so there is really not much information I can give, but I could really use some help to get this to work.

Infinite loading screen when using mods
Kathalie replied to Kathalie's topic in BattleTech's Discussion
I tried with only Modtek alone and had the same problem. If I didn't know better I would say Modtek itself is the issue, and that is required -
I tried modding my game for the first time, but when I try to start a new game I just get an infinite loading screen. I started by installing Modtek, and have installed the following mods. Advanced Difficulty Settings Battletech performance Fix Battletek Mod Loader Commander Portrait Loader Galaxy At War Starting Ronin Portraits Turbine I don't understand what the problem is, and looking at the Modtek.log file does not make me any wiser, other than getting the impression there are some conflicts. I could really use some help, and attached the modtek log file in the hopes that someone here can help me understand and solve the problem.

I just installed en ENB preset for my game, but for some reason I cannot get the ENB menu to work. I'm using the "PRT X - PotoRealistic Tamriel 10 - Legacy Edition" ENB preset. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/4743?tab=description According to the description I should be able to open the ENB menu with the "END" button, but it does not work. I followed the instructions to the letter for installation and even watched a youtube tutorial, but for reasons beyond my understanding I can't get it to work, in fact none of the described buttons works. Anyone able to help? My Mod list/Load Order:

Got it to work now. The reason I got the error was because I did not save and close after adding Heel Sound as master to Tera Armours, this was not mentioned in the tutorial for Heel Sound. Thanks so much for the help.

Where do I find this 3.0.1 version? The oldest version I can find anywhere is 3.1 and thats for the LE version, I'm looking to edit the SE version.

I'm in need of some assistance editing a mod since this is something I have never done before. I want to use the "Heels Sound 1.5 SSE" mod https://www.loverslab.com/files/file/1795-heels-sound/ with the TERA Armours collection(CBBE). https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/9651 I already asked the mod author if he/she would do it and was told that it's unlikely and suggested I do it myself. I figured how hard can it be since the Heel Sound mod has all the instructions on how to do it, so I downloaded SSEdit and set to work. Unfortunately I'm encountering an error that has me stumped "Load Order FileID[04] cannot be mapped to FileID for file TEARAArmorsSSE.esp"" I'm hoping I can get some assistance on this as this is new to me and I do not understand the error.

FNIS was my first thought, but despite running it multiple times it's still not working. Tried reinstalling everything including Skyrim, but the problem persists.

I haven't checked yet, but for the sake of argument let's say it's Immersive encounters. I had that mod in my previous game and a number of games before that and never had any issues with it, so why would it cause issues now? USSEP and LAL I had for as long as I can remember and not had any issues with. Edit: I disabled Immersive Encounters and the problem persists. I think I'll just try a reinstall and see if that fixes it.

Not sure why LAL was not in the list, but have updated it now.

I just started a new game as I was having some issues with physics in my previous game. I uninstalled all my mods and installed them again in order of requirements. A couple mods were removed after I found they were incompatible with others and likely the cause of the issues. Now I have run into a problem I am simply unable to solve on my own, so I'm hoping the community here can help. The issue I have is that NPC's will behave in abnormal ways. Some NPC's will move around without walking, like a statue sliding over the ground. From the Immersive wenches mod the travelling wenches and their guards will simply stand in one place and never move. As I use Alternate start I at one point went to Helgen to start the Dragonborn quest. I saved the imperial guy(forgot his name) and he was the one behaving the worst. At one point walking along the river towards Riverwood the road did a small turn and the guy just kept going straight, if not for a rock blocking his way he would have walked into the river. I got him back on the road by just interacting with him. Once we got to the gate at Riverwood he would suddenly take off at a sprint and not stop until he got to the Riverwood trader, where he just turned around and ran back to the gate. When I tried interacting with him like before he took off out of down and just ran into the bushes along the side of the road. I can't for the life of me figure out what is causing it. I tried looking at it with SSEEdit, but quite frankly could not make heads or tails of any of it. My mod list/load order.

I'm hoping someone here can tell me if this is a bug with the main game, with one of my mods or the result of a mod conflict. I was looking into crafting some rad weave for my armour for better radiation protection. But I found that all the MK1 weaves (insulated, Rad and Ballistic) for some obscure reason requires the MK1 to make, and it's the only requirement to make them as well. I'm unable to make what I want to make because the very thing I want to make is also a requirement to make it. Screenshot showing what I mean. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1552839346 My Mod list/load order in case it's of importance.

Let me put it another way when it comes to the Heartfire adoptions. I'm using mod houses that I have used it the past and which I know have support for the heartfire multiple adoptions. Specifically I have been using Skyfall Estate or White River Cottage which is specifically stated to be compatible with the Heartfire Multiple Adoptions mod, in fact for White River Cottage its said that its required for the kids to move in. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/2185 https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/3992 Yet despite that the children will not go to the house when I adopt them, they just remain in place as I described in my OP. Regarding the textures for Sexy Mannequins and SSEEdit, I think you misunderstood me. I understood what you said that SSEEdit dont look at that, what I was trying to say is that I'm not convinced its the Sexy Mannequins mod thats the cause of the problem here since the problem is not limited to the mannequins, but appears on some NPC's around the world as well, though seems to be limited to female NPC's only. However I posted about it on the page for the mod, but I'm still waiting for a response on the issue https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/2128?tab=posts And with SSEEdit not looking at it, it makes it harder to track down the issue. In case its of any help, this is my Plugins list.
