Gaming laptops are a ripoff. For £1000's you'd be smashing Skyrim with a desktop. The 960m is going to be your bottleneck. The GTX 1060 is about 5 times as fast and it'll set you back £250. The 950m is very underpowered compared to the cards that BlackRoseOfThorns was listing off. Even a low-end card like the 750ti benches double what the 950m does. Use a 360 pad. it works out of the box. the icons in game change the moment you plug it in. The tutorials on controls refresh. I personally find anything but native controller support is not good enough to consider ditch the keyboard. Skyrim works best with a pad, bar favourite items. pc can have 9 (num keys), xbox pad has 2 (left and right on dpad) 360 controller support is becoming standard for new PC games.

have you thought of replacing oblivion DB armor too, this stuff looks wicked but i dont have morrowind on the PC
