  1. At the time when i put this setup together i had little to no money to go on, so it felt natural to take amd route on mobo and cpu, but now that i am about to upgrade intel cpu's seems like better choise, altough it would mean that i would have to get new mobo and maybe even new ram depending on cpu/mobo i would choose. Good thing is regardless what graphic card i end up choosing, i can stick it in both system regardless if it ends up being intel or amd. My aim in this topic was more towards the experiences other may have had with fx 6300 when playing skyrim, for example i played around with different settings, and with few mods regardless of options i got same average fps with 1080p. Thanks everyone for their replies, feel free to comment on this tough, if you have any insides to this topic, it would be interesting to hear if anybody has any bottleneck/problems with fx 6300 regarding skyrim.
  2. So to start off, here are specs of my rig. -> Motherboard - Msi 970 gaming Graphic card - Nvidia geforce gtx 750 ti Ram - Kingston hyperx savage 8 gt (2x 4 gt) Cpu - Amd fx 6300 3.5 ghz 6-core am3+ Naturally my pc ain't that special, and i am not expecting to play a game like skyrim for example with highest settings and most demanding graphical mods. My main question is, i have been thinking about upgrading my graphic card for a while now, but i have read quite a lot how skyrim is very cpu hungry and part of the problems might be because of my fx 6300. So would new gpu help or should get new cpu too?
