  1. I know there's reskins, but is there a way to have several ones in game and be able to select them for the frame or is that out of the realm of possibility?
  2. There's the same project going on for NV n has been for quite some time, might be worth talking to a few of them if they are still active. I'm sure at least a few of them felt like switching the project to the newer game
  3. By any chance is there a forum or other place of discussion where we could figure out this whole keywords thing? It seems to me like half the people making their stuff compatible with sk are only going halfway. Ie the shops being moved to resources and patch makers moving them back. If we could have a place to work out where the majority of us want it in the menus, we could get a more usable SK to work from, more mod makers adhering to it and solve alot of issues.
  4. Fun... Any idea how deal with this? I'm just getting into modding Bethesda stuff, know my way around PhotoShop n zbrush but haven't worked with fo4edit or any of the Beth specific workflow
  5. Yup, basically its the first step of trying to make a nightkin companion. Made a quick recolor edit of the supermutant_d body texture, the supermutanthead_d and the supermutantstronghead_d. But his face didn't change color with the rest of him. After I get this working I planned on completely redoing the face to be unique. Once the geck comes I was gonna work on the actual companion n nightkin enemies but I wanted resources ready
  6. Yeah, but why would that affect only a single face texture anyway? Everything else I've retexured has worked
  7. Is there a material that applies to the head but not body? I can't get the face to change. The body texture is definitely shared with regular super mutants. He has his own face textures but recoloring the supermutantstronghead_d.dss has no effect.
  8. Is there more than one Texture for his face? I can't seem to change the color of his face. Under actors, supermutant, he has a face file textures, the eyes n body of the regular super mutant, the regular super mutant face is there, I've tried altering all of them in case his face was some sort of over lay on the regular face but still no dice. Any clue what I'm missing here? The eyes n body changed as expected, just not the face.
  9. Nothing to do with your request, but I'm curious, when u remove it with console commands, does the forearm of your clothes/armor appear or is it still rolled up/missing?
  10. When he lived in rivet he was a child, met cutler as a child, he grew up and they joined the brotherhood together. Thus he was a child, did age and was at some point a real human being. (not necessarily because he aged, but because shawn is the first working child synth) He was replaced after meeting cutler and therefore probably after they were in the brotherhood and in different units.
  11. It can just be extremely awkward sometimes. You're driving through some of the darker moments of the story, you just explained your wife's death for the forth damn time in a row, and for some reason, next time homie opens his mouth, he's happy as hell. Alternatively, you've been running around doing awesome things, or in the heat of battle and start a conversation; male PC sounds like eeyore looking for his tail. It just sometimes comes out at all the immersion breaking moments IMO
  12. I personally love the idea, but had a few other things in mind. I still want some type of extreme attacks that can either happen randomly or can be turned on as a steady thing (possibly in game settings, added in right under difficulty) Two main reasons why, I want to test the ridiculously high defense at my settlement and I just want some action. I already play on very hard n survival difficulty n realistically have no challenging groups of enemies anymore. Basically I want an invasion beyond what most people would find logical to ask for. Gimme a group of mirelurk kings n queens, or some assaltrons with sentry bots.
  13. Yeah, its either bugged or u just need to click on him again. Sometimes he wont interact normally until the caption of his "i can think straight again" disappears. My Sheffield wears either cage or spike armor n has some random weapon. I had him working a store for a bit until I got annoyed by the 15 extra seconds it takes to listen to him say that everytime before interacting.
  14. I've personally been writing for a mod that will do this through an optional quest for each faction. Trying to make it lore friendly as much as possible. Basic concept is that completing the quest forces them to be in the faction that you complete the quest for. Waiting for the creation kit n then ill need some voice acting. I want it to be handled differently depending on faction. Like for the railroad you would have to steal data from a terminal at the institute and return it to tinker tom. He and Pam turn this data into a device you then have to attach to a radio tower. It sends out a signal to deprogram combat ready Gen 3 synths. X6, danse and several coursers are now at RR HQ with the coursers renamed railroad agent. X6 n danse then have dialogue about it (that they feel free now or something) n are now in the railroad faction as far as game scripting is concerned. Maybe for the institute you capture deacon n replace him with a synth, etc, etc.
  15. I must say, at first glance, this seems like a waste of effort. Hear me out, i really am not just here to troll you. I get the point of reduced mod count, but half the reason all those things are individual mods is so people can pick and choose. Its seems to me like every good idea you've seen as a mod already, you want to include. Unfortunately this either would mean stealing resources from alot of modders, or basically redoing all of their work. This also means that if any of those modders does it better, people are still going to want those mods over/in addition to this massive one. It also means that its going to need to be updated alot, every time anyone improves anything. I highly recommend narrowing the scope of this project to something more concise and defined, growing as things get done. That said, if you need people for textures, I'm in, just not to redo anyone else's mod as I find that to be shady behavior.
