So what i've found after talking to a few nice folks on GOG is this is an issue with the GOG release itself, as after removing all installed mods, the default plugins are all disabled so nothing loads in(no sexy saints an seducers what a let down ), the fix is too reinstall the game entirely and start a new game. then reinstall all mods after included AE plugins are confirmed working/enabled. then just reload old save with mods reinstalled. this is aparently why all mod launchers launch with mods disabled as well for me, they just didnt show all AE dlc plugins were disabled in game as well..

  2. If I forget to add some details let me know,

    I am using Skyrim Anniversary edition, GOG release.

     

    The issue is my mods/plugins are disabled on launch of skse, vanilla, along with NMM.

     

    They do appear enabled in Mod organizer 2, and are correctly sorted in mod organizer 2(relative to what I am seeing in LOOT i mean). but are still disabled when launching skse(warning message says all .esp including skyui).

     

    The plugin.ini files in my appdata/local correctly reflect what LOOT shows when i sort the mods.

     

    NMM(nexus mod manager) launches with all mods disabled. Unlike Mod Organizer, it does not have plugins sorted the same as LOOT plugin .ini, nor does it have the plugins enabled in fact they are all disabled on launch of NMM. Even if i launch the game from NMM after re-enabling the plugins the .esp will still not load and will appear disabled in the game.

     

     

    Anyone know of a fix they can suggest?

     

     

  3. Would it be possible to somehow implement the dodge ability from the RE3 reboot into the much superior RE2 Remake? it's the only thing I think re2 remake is missing is an ability top move out of the way "faster"

  6. Hello! So I always liked the functionality from Project Nevada that allowed you to charge special attacks with some unique energy weapons like the Q-35 Matter Modulator and AER-14 Prototype but I don't really want to install Project Nevada since these days it's just a bloated mess of a mod with features I don't want and ones I've already had implemented by other mods. Would it be possible for someone to extract or recreate the charge functionality from PN to make it a standalone mod? And if possible to include the mod that adds this functionality to Elijah's Experimental Tesla Cannon? Thanks in advance!

    I too am searching for a mod that can do that, everyone keeps saying to not use project nevada these days, that there are mods to replace it's functionality, so where is the mod that does this?

I am having an issue where the menu select(inventory, map magic an level up) screen very quickly shows up on loop, it's very hard to notice when not moving but when clicking anything or moving around I've noticed it stays on screen when i happen to press a key at the right moment or move the mouse, I have tried 3 different keyboards, remapped my menu key to different keys, an tried using a controller instead an it keeps on opening an closing really fast. Anyone know what might be happening here?

Would really like to see a spell done where a trap is placed on the ground that once activated has bone spike launch from the ground an impale enemies, or have skeleton hands immobilize a target by holding them in place, and if under a certain amount of health tear their souls from their bodies.

  9. I've been playing the mod Sacrosanct for a week now, and cant seem to find any explanations on how to use certain abilities in the mod, the forum for it is locked, so I have to ask here instead.

    I assume its supposed to be a critical, not really sure how this is supposed to work in game. anyone know how to use this perk?

I always have My fallout copied to an external to bring to a friends house now and again, and noticed that the ENB doesn't want to work whenever I launch the game(Specifically FOSE.exe) from the external and not the PC internal drive. Would anyone happen to know why this is? I am using Chromatic Melancholy ENB, I followed the directions, it works perfect on my PC, it just wont work on the external, not that that matters, I cant seem to get any ENB to work on the external at the moment, as I tried different ENB's with Oblivion, Fallout NV, and Skyrim too off an external and they just crash the game on startup.

I am wanting to make a vid showing what re1 hd remaster looks like with the camera in first person, the idea is to have it similar to Code Veronicas's scrapped FPS mode where the camera is fixed to the direction the character is facing(you point the weapon up the camera moves up, you let go of aim the camera faces forward again).

     

    The idea here is to make a video displaying what it looks like for those who ask the question in the future.

    I have been browsing just about every site imaginable for answers, and all I can find are others giving reasons it shouldnt be done with no proof of the concept besides a free camera video.

    I'm not reall sure if I really understan what you are saying here. But there is not "that" animation which creates levitation. It has to be added toe EACH AND EVERY animation where the actor moves.

     

    THe dragon priest has 4 walk animations. mt_walk_f.hkx, mt_walk_b.hkx, mt_walk_l.hkx, mt_walk_r.hkx. Each of them has the adjusted z-axis. Same for run, and all the others. That's not something you can take over to characters. They have totally different animations.

     

    Making the z-axis change is a piece of cake. Or actually it WOULD be a piece of cake if it wouldn't be so hard in Skyrim to make animations.

     

    Im referring to the combination of all the above to give the illusion of player levitation, without transforming into another creature, so everything stays the same look wise you just appear to be floating around, I am pretty much wanting this to use either a spell or a power as a transformation.

     

    but pretty much your saying I would need to make my own animations(or get permission to use someone else's) to use, along with adjusting the Z-axis?

     

    Because that makes it a lot simpler, putting aside the pain of creating new animations of course. :happy:

  14. If you can work out what makes the Vampire Lord etc fly you could make a spell, shout or an item to toggle it on or off. Or maybe a hidden Perk. Maybe even add Alchemy ingredients to make a new potion

     

    But, as you know, Daggerfall, Morrowind and Oblivion had areas and traps where Fly and Levitate were actually needed or it was Game Over. In Skyrim, the dungeon quest goal and entrance/exit are often very close together, but the goal is inaccessible as you cannot climb up the rock face or levitate. You have to traipse all the way through the dungeon and go full circle to get to the end, which is often right by the entrance. If we could levitate, we could skip everything, so they designed it out of the game.

     

    First thing would be to check out a Vampire Lord in the CK and see what power, ability, item or hidden perk they may have that allows them to levitate.

     

    You can Fake Fly with a console code, TCL, IIRC, which turns off collision. There are places where you can float through locked doors etc into the next room, and others where you can't as the door teleports you to a new cell rather than just blocks the way.

     

    But that's not really what you want as it makes you immune to damage as well.

     

    Now I think of it, I made an Alchemy mod (unreleased WIP) years back and I vaguely recall trying to allow potions of Levitate. But I really can't remember whether I could. I added lots of new ingredients and powers and did manage to make some new potion effects.

     

    Basically, if the effect exists in-game, it should be possible to adapt it to another use, like potions, spells, shouts etc. So i hope you find it!

    as far as the player skin goes, Im thinking the best base would be the dragon priest, it already wields weapons along with several different expert level spells and shouts,

    If I could make a transformation for the dragon priest that allows for inventory usage during the transformation, all that would be needed is using the player model over the dragon priest's.

  15. One if the best things about Oblivion was you could create a enchant the never faded and could be set on a piece of armor to levitate aka fly .. endlessly.

    One of the 1st mods I made was one that made you fly. I come to understand why they took it out. Skyrim is set up so being able to fly would kill many things.

    Many things are set up in a way where flying would be way to easy to complete things. Also the landscape isn't really set up for it. The 1st problem you will run into

    is the fact you can't really use collision while flying. So you will end up flying through everything and anything ...

    Yeah I figured that out myself when experimenting with other peoples flying mods, however the game has a built in float system already,k the vampire lord levitation doesnt mess with collisions much from my experience with it, in fact I get plenty of moments where I cant move through a door way because my head is too high up.

     

    It's confusing how with all the mods on the nexus, Bethesda, MODDB, and Steam workshop. That I have yet to see a mod that simply lets you use this in game mechanic, which leaves me to assume either nobody has tried, or there is a reason it cannot be done.

     

    I am hoping that with this post here, that somebody with experience may be able to explain this, so that this repeated discussion can finally get some proper closure instead of wishful thinking, I am getting to know the creation kit pretty well as of late, slowly learning it when I have time to spend on it. I would like to try to do this myself, and it would help to know if anyone else has tried, failed or succeeded before I even begin to touch it myself.
