I also want this, been saying this sense day one on the PS4. I dont like how everything has to be on screen at all times or none at all.

I too want to not have the minimap, it breaks my immersion completely. i mean we already have th efull map, i dont want to have the minimap telling me wheres where all the time. like sure its fine with the mounting i guess, but i would still want it off completely. I like everything else, just no Minimap.
