It seems that modder doesn`t look into the forum. So if we still hope to see such beautiful armor set it may be better to look arround into the "armor" mods and directly to ask for help some modders that already made good armor trough PM.

For example Abakus seems to know about the Japanese weapons, but didn`t respond to me.

A good samurai set? You mean which set is the best to make in skyrim?

Masks are not necessary for me.

On the first one the swords aren't bad but he styles the naginata-like weapons after Akaviri's similar versions. I think the blades are much too long and they look somewhat awkward. Although the armor in the screenshots looks pretty sweet, and I would like to know how to get it.

Not having much common with any Japanese style armor by my opinon, but there are no better.

Still no word on this? There seems to be enough people backing the idea so I do not see why not. At the very least, I would like a two handed katana with a faster swing speed than the one handed variant so I can somewhat feel like a real samurai. So much potential...

I support ANSWERME with both hands. As heavy or light armor those style is too good to be trown away. Even as stand alone mod with stats about the best armors. Not overpowered, of course.

I admit, the variety of heavy armors in Skyrim is astonishing .... low, while he quantity of fancy light armor mods with ridiculous stats seems endless.

I`m glad to see that someone think not only for wepons, but for the armors too. Those cheap imitation called "Blade`s armor" is an absurd farrago from multiple styles, including Roman about 2-3 BC and partly Greek style even before that, possibly others too. Since there is such interest toward the Japanese weapons I wonder why there is not a single Japanese armor mod arround?
