    Need help

I have seen browsers/anti-virus programs rename the exe file to a .240. You should be able to rename it to exe or turn off your anti-virus before downloading.
  2. Do you have any animation mods? Cuz I have had this happen before with some animation mods (that did not touch mining at all) and running FNIS helped fix it.
  3. In response to post #57628901. You can. It is in the dashboard part of the program. You should see it about the middle of the screen. There you can launch SKSE64, SSEEdit, LOOT and any other thing you want. If it is not there you can add it on the right side with the Plus button.
  4. In response to post #57609666. #57611286 is also a reply to the same post. You have to click on the red lighting bolts in the mod section of the program. It will pop open a window showing what is conflicting and allows you to set 'load before' or 'load after' rules. It should tell you how many files conflict and if you click the text that says how many it will show you the exact files. After which it should turn to a green lighting bolt. It is true that the program does not really tell you what to do to fix somethings, I found most stuff out by randomly clicking things.
  5. Wow. Congrats! You know it has been amazing watching the growth of this site over the last seven or so years I have known about it. And this truly seams like a natural next step and I am excited. I want to say nice job to Robin, nice job to everyone on the Nexus team and nice job to the community that supports them. Thanks!
  6. In response to post #45788870. #45798700, #45799680 are all replies on the same post. I am going to have to agree with icecreamassassin and bigdeano. I know that making follower mods is difficult but recently they have been on the Hotfiles all the time. And personally I get sick of the vanilla voiced followers that drown out a lot of the followers that are voiced/quested. The Discussions are new and eventually an author of follower mods will be interviewed. And I do feel that apart of the reason you do not see as much "credit" to follower mods is due to the shear amount of them that have popping up. Most with the same amount of quality to the mod, that they dont stand out as much.

That person still has to maintain the car and put gas in it and you don't.

  9. To me this whole thing just showed me how quickly the modding "community" could tear at individuals and be divided. As well as how people jump on each other for expressing their opinion and feelings. It is a shame that people drove out some of the best modders because their ideals did not conform with their own beliefs. But at the same time it showed us that even mod authors could act just as childish with protest banners, hiding or pulling mods, backlash or immaturity. It is not the mod authors that if worried about or would call a sell out but the mod users that blamed them. People feared change and burned those who attempted to ride it. Some say that the damage is done, that even if the authors that used the Workshop came back that it wont be the same. I agree but it is not the authors that did the damage but the users. It is not the authors that swore. It is not the authors that gave death threats. It is not the authors that spammed. Chesko tried to reason with the users, try to appeal to the user and the users banished him. It is not the paid mods I fear, but the backlash of users. It is a shame that it is gone and it is a shame that is happened.

Yes, because the SkyUi team have proven to be fair and you you do not have an faith in them you must be blind. And the fact that you would turn away from the team that made Skyrim on PC a thing is just as sad. Look at their record. They have always been there and always been the main names in modding here and elsewhere. And if you are so quick as to throw that trust and faith away well that is your loss. The only issue I have is way Marrdox is handleing it.
