  1. Hey David, Thanks for the advice. I tried the other save cleaner that you suggested, already ran the second one previously. I already had Safe uGrids installed, which has worked wonders. Nothing worked. What ended up working however, was forwarding the quest for Meridia's beacon to stage 300 instead of completion, and then I was transported to the area without issue to speak with Meridia. I could walk around the before mentioned area without issue. Seems like the script that started the whole "Look at my temple!" bit was causing problems. I'm now inside the shrine and will update after completing the quest to see if the issue still occurs when I leave the temple. Cheers, Styger
  2. Hello all! Hope someone might be able to help me out with this; I've been consistently CTDing in the area between Dragon Bridge and Meridia's shrine, while traveling the road. At first I thought it was the beacon quest, so I forwarded a few stages, still crashes. If I don't move, but set uGrids to 7 (Which has worked fine in the past), pretty much instant CTD. I've attached my papyrus log below, as well as my mod order and PC specs. PC Specs: Mod Order: Papyrus Log: If anyone can see any errors that I'm missing, please let me know. In addition to the above, I also ran stress testing by setting my speed to 1000, and flying around Skyrim, so it's not my engine crashing I believe. I also ran savegame cleaner, and saved a fresh save. I'm at wit's end here!
  3. I did a little more testing across all of my saves and it seems to be only localized to this one character. Unsure if that'll help anyone find something, but figured every bit would help.
  4. So I did some more testing and I it doesn't matter what time it is, as long as time has passed (2-24 hours) the game will crash upon saving. This is making me sad... this playthrough has been amazing so far and I'd hate to lose it.
  5. Hello Nexus Users, Quick problem here; I'm experiencing silent CTDs whenever I save (quicksave/console save/menu save) after time has passed in game. Whether it's after I've fast traveled, wait for time to pass, or let time pass naturally, at some point when I go to save I get a silent CTD. This is relatively new, as I was just playing for several hours without any issues with the exception of a few CTDs, which are in the norm for me. This is an entirely different beast it seems. I've listed my BOSS log below (mind you this isn't the actual load order, just all of my mods: Warbugs is popped to the end of the order, and Undeath has some workarounds) I'm working with Windows 7 64-bit intel i7-950 CPU 12 GB RAM EVGA GTX 670 FTW I'd appreciate any and all help! Update: It seems to occur whether I'm in an exterior or interior cell, neither location makes a difference. Papyrus Log
  6. Hello all! Experiencing a straight to desktop CTD, no freezes or infinite loading screens. After checking my papyrus log a few times, I'm noticing something called HazardBase.psc pop up a couple times. Edit: After running the game several more times, I'm finding that I'm CTDing when I try to enter the Dawnstar area. I'm also noticing the _DE_WoodChoppingFurniture script (from Frostfall I believe) reoccurring in the other logs. I found one other error like this with Frostfall and SMIM textures, but I've disabled SMIM already and it's still occurring. This isn't the complete log, just the last lines before CTD. Here is my mod list: Hope someone is familiar with this and can help me out!
  7. Running on Windows 7 64-bit, would you believe that the crash is odd at that RAM mark, or still go with the idea that it could just as easily be the amount going on in the loaded areas?
  8. Hello all! So, I've come to understand that Skyrim's memory usage limit is at around 3.1 GB of RAM. I wanted to test this, and so I decided to run the Skyrim Performance Monitoring software found here on the Nexus, to take a look and see how my game performed when bumping ugrids up to 7. Here are the results: http://imgur.com/a/k5UAt Both screenshots were taken at the moment of CTD or Freezing. As you can see, the game crashed or froze at the same time, with the RAM hitting about 2.4 GB. Now, unless I'm misreading / understanding something, I seem to be missing .6 GB to play around with before the crash. If someone could please explain what I'm not understanding, or point out a solution if this is truly a problem, I would much appreciate it. Below, I've included my .ini edits and my mod list. ini tweaks Active Mods
  9. I say dear fellow, you've done it! Cheers!
  10. Meant to edit that but the server crashed; it was werewolf mastery that affects looting, not Moonlight tales. As for your thread, saw that, but as I mentioned, didn't want to hijack it.
  11. Update: I tried verifying the cache, to no avail. There's only one mod that I have that affects looting, the Moonlight Tales mod for werewolves (I am a werewolf), but removal of that didn't seem to affect anything.
  12. Okay, so awesome! The servers are acting up and my post was lost! Take 2! Two playthroughs, no serious mod changes between them. Playthrough #1 cannot interact with ash/zombie/priest/seeker/wraith piles without losing the ability to interact with other objects, bodies, people, etc. Playthrough #2 (most recent), does not have this problem. Mod list is down below in spoiler tags, any help would be appreciated! Edit: I know there's someone else with the same problem; however, they are being too passive about solving it and I don't want to hijack their thread, just fyi. Solved: Lockpicking Overhaul was the issue. Disabled via MCM menu, and it's all good now!
  13. Having the same issue here; ash piles, priest piles, seeker piles, ice wraith piles, doesn't matter. Whenever I loot from one, I lose all ability to interact with objects and people. Mod List
  14. Pretty sure this was the culprit. Removed that mod for other reasons, music stopped. Of course this was a long time ago now, so I am unsure.
  15. Okay, so I "fixed" the music bug. I ran all of the removemusic commands, alt-tabbed out of the game, then back in to begin the Dragon combat music. I exited Whiterun as it played, and let it finished. The regular music began playing, much to my amazement, beyond the first 10 seconds. Several dungeon crawls later, it's still playing strong. What happened? The f*#@ if I know. But that's what I did and it's all good now. Oh, also uninstalled the Sound Propagation mod... just for good measure.
  16. Inserting my latest papyrus log here. For the longest time I've noticed this dragonactor script entry. I was wondering if anyone thinks it might have something to do with what's going on, considering that the only music I do hear is the dragon combat music.
  17. @izon87604 It doesn't, but it's better to have more ambient sound than having zero music. Still wondering what's going on with my game though, hate getting hopeful when I hear music during the loading screen only to end in utter silence...
  18. I ran that code for pretty much any and all combat music before posting here. I also ran a different save, sound worked fine then; however, I don't have any previous saves for this current character that I can revert to. In the meantime, I'm using the Sound Propagation mod again so that it's not so deathly silent in-game.
  19. I had a similar problem and, for me, it was the mod Moonpath to Elsweyr. I uninstalled it and was able to traverse the area with no problems. I reinstalled it using the nexus files instead of Steam, and it loaded safely and I could travel again with the mod installed. My two cents, even though no two errors are completely alike in this game, it might help.
  20. Hey Candy, thanks for the trick but still no go. @izon87604 Check my BOSS list above and see if you're running anything similar to me, in regards to mods. Perhaps there's a commonality, hopefully.
  21. @Zedekiah25 Are you running any of the mods down below? Maybe we can narrow down the suspect.
  22. Tried that already, doesn't work. Even when I alt-tabbed to the dragon combat music, nothing changed. I waited an hour and changed areas. Nothing.
  23. Quick update: I entered Shor's Hall where the Sovngarde chant began to play. If music would only play once throughout my game, I'm glad it was here. However, as soon as I excited the Hall to finish Alduin, the music went into complete silence.
