  1. I seem to be having a problem right now. Apparently, on all of my saves, moon light tales does not force transformations. Forced transformations apparently do work on new games, but I do not wish to lose my level twenty character. Things I have ruled out: Mod conflicts (sort of, I'll get to that.) Load order. When it began: This problem either began one of three ways. I installed blood moon, which moon light tales works with and it added beast form or something along the lines, despite the fact that I had it already. I slept through one full moon. I ate a werewolf heart which would cure lycanthropy and loaded a save prior to this happening (perhaps the game got the data mixed up? Just a thought.) Notes: I have tried multiple things to fix this. I disabled all of my mods other than moon light tales, which fixed nothing. I have edited the mod's settings through mcm to where it would be impossible for the player to avoid a forced transformation (setting full moon to last for ten days and all other moon phases to last for zero). I have also cured myself of lycanthropy and regained it through mcm and Aela the huntress. Neither of these did anything. I also gave myself sanies lupinus and waited for three days for it to manifest as lycanthropy. This did not work either. Possibilities: I do not really know how this mod functions, and while I was testing all of this, the thing I did was wait for full moons. This potentially means missing the exact moment the full moon completely rises. Depending on how the mod functions, I suppose that missing that moment may invalidate the full moon. This would not explain, however, why when I played through the remaining two days of the full moon being up not forcing a transformation either. Ps: Saves from before any of this DO have working forced transformations and more than one song plays throughout the game, another problem I had.

  4. Well, I've run BOSS and it set Skyui's place differently. Everything else is the same. Skyui is now the 12th mod loaded. The problem has not gone away or changed. Perhaps I should change skyui's place manually? How far up or down should it load?
  5. So, I've spent about 48 hours straight trying to work around a problem I have been having. I'm uncertain of what it actually is, but here's what I THINK I know. Skse and Skyui do not seem to work together at all.SKSE is up to date and returning the correct version.SKYUI seems to be installed correctly and I have done so completely every single way I can think of, multiple times.The game is also NOT pirated. This I DO know. To confirm: The game tells me that the SKSE scripts are out of date and I may not have installed them or updated them.

  7. So, fallout new vegas decided to delete the saves. They aren't in the folder in documents. They're gone. I don't even have the newer DLC so it's not that. The only dlc I have is dead money, and the only other person to report this f***ed up problem complained that it was lonely road that wipes saves. I know there's no way in hell of getting my saves back, but does anyone know what caused this, how it can be prevented and what mods I can get to get me back to the position I was in. I really don't want to have to beat this damn game again.
  8. Alright, I seem to have hit a snag when it comes to mod development. Primarily modelling. Now before you ask yes, I've read some tutorials, I'm not one of those types who waves around questions without prior research. The thing is, I'm not even sure where to start. I'm also using blender, as I mentioned in the description of this post. Mainly, I'm wanting to make armor and weapons. If anyone here has any experience with this or can find a good tutorial, please for the love of god, let me know. (This is damn frustrating and overwhelming. :wallbash: )

  10. Actually I do need to know what area has an intercom I can copy. I couldn't find one in the repconn test site and that was the only one I remember.

  12. I've started on a new mod. I can't tell you much of what it's about, at least not in this stage. I can however say that there really is only one real character you talk to through out it and it's only through intercoms. Now, I've been looking through tutorials on the bethsoft geck site and while some of them are good, this one seems like it's missing a few details. So, I need to know how to get this person to talk to the player through an intercom. Anyone care to explain how this is done? Do note, I want this person to talk to you after reading a note as well. If that's not possible, then an alternative would be nice. And apparently I need help on placing dead bodies too.

  14. Alright, so I'm new to the mod community (However these aren't my first experiences with it. I'm not quite a newbie.) and I wanted to know how I would edit a texture (.dds files this time around). However what I need is more specific than most tutorials get, these textures were already created. I want to edit the textures on the pip boy readius. Searching through google revealed no results. So here I am breaking my own rule (Never ask anything or say anything unless you have uploaded something impressive. Sorry, I'm used to facepunches elitism >:( ). But ultimately, I want help on this, anything would be more than appreciated. :wallbash: As a matter of fact, any sort of texture creation tips would be good, I plan on going to other things than re-textures.
  15. Bah, that's alright, so what if it takes a while longer? It's generally better if the creators are as happy with it as the community is. I'm really interested to see what we're missing here. I unlike most avoided a bulk of the news on this so everything would be a surprise and I have to say, if what I have on my computer is not the full thing, then damn... this really will be one of the best mods for this game I've ever played (I've played a great many). Anyways, enough of my new found "fan-boyism" there is a time and a place for that and that place is the REAL release. I hope you get this solved, best of luck sir.
  16. I think if you could work in the T-1000000 from the "Terminator 3-D" thing, that'd be pretty cool. Don't know how you'd do it though, the f***er is big: http://terminator.wikia.com/wiki/T-1000000. Just an idea I thought I might throw out, probably wouldn't work without a good texture working, meshes, AI changes and all sorts of other s***. Then again, this mod is pretty insane anyways (in a good way) :P I'm such a f***in' nerd... :facepalm:
