  1. I do hope you start translating the perks to the perk tree eventually. Looks great so far.
  2. If you want to use the mod you should go ahead and download it. It's freely available on the front page of the thread and it works. Lord knows when or if it will ever truly be 'done'. There is another update coming in the future, then it won't be far from ready to be put onto the nexus, but even then it won't truly be finished. No one's work truly is finished. Ask every game developer and they'll tell you of the litany of things they wish they could've put in but had to hold off because the game had to ship on time. And that's where DLC comes from (and probably some mods). The mod looks great so far. I really hope you finish because it's been well done so far.
  3. I can easily play the game using perks like normal on the 360. I was looking for extra, like new rifles and armor that people might find fun.
  4. Okay, so I have New Vegas on both 360 and PC with all addons on both. I'd like to add some mods to make the PC experience more unique and would be welcome to any suggestions from the Nexus community, if you'd be so inclined. Any suggestions are welcome, but I have a few priorities to suggestions I'd like to see first: What mod manager software would you suggest? I hear that NMM is not the best for New Vegas. Having come from modding Skyrim first, I have to wonder if there is something similar to the Unofficial Skyrim Patch for New Vegas. I prefer to play cowboy in the game, preferring lever-action weaponry and the whole duster-wearing archetype. What are some good suggestions? What are some good recommendations for quest mods? What is the best body mod?Again any suggestions are welcome, and appreciate any suggestions.
  5. So, I got to watching a show on the History channel about Fort Knox. They were outlining potential security using hearsay and tin-foil-hat theories, when I got to thinking: What would the area in and around Fort Knox be like in the world of Fallout Earth? The U.S. Gold Depository building erroneously known as 'Fort Knox' in the real world is the most technologically secure United States building outside of Washington DC, not to mention that it is situated inside of the real Fort Knox which began as a U.S. Cavalry fort and then became not only the premiere tank pilot training facility, but is also a place where the entire U.S. Military go to get State Of The Art military training. So it stands to reason that the place would be fairly advanced in the world of fallout before the Great War. All things considered, on Fallout Earth, it would most likely have remained the largest source for gold in the U.S. Fort Knox itself, what with it's history of being a heavy vehicle training fort, would most likely have moved on from tanks (though they would have kept the ones they had) and moved to more mobile and just as powerful powered armors. So Fort Knox would have been one of the most well protected areas in the world, right? Well, yeah. I think so. I also think that by the time the Brotherhood of Steel got into full swing, the fort would have already been controlled by local inhabitants for a good number of years. So these would have had time to train in power armor and use the mostly stationary tanks (what with little-to-no fuel to make them go anywhere), making them a force to be reckoned with when the BoS came to claim the tech in the fort. This would lead to a standoff between those inside and those without, that a PC could find adventure in. Now all this got me thinking, what kind of Vaults would be in Kentucky. Well, I looked at the list of Vaults from the Fallout Bible, and two caught my eye, Vaults 68 and 69. These two Vaults had a similar but opposite experiments: 68 had 999 men, but 1 woman, and 69 had 999 women and 1 man. What if the inhaitants of these two Vaults survived to the New Vegas era, thus creating two different tribal groups: one pro men, and one pro women. Now, what if you could choose between the four factions in two storylines set in the Kentucky area. This is the idea that I present to you folks who mod. I present an idea of a completely new and large area that could have enough potential to be large enough to be a major expansion if done correctly. Please let me know what you think.
