We can all agree that hammers are pretty awesome weapons, breaking bones and smashing skulls through even the thickest of armours. I've not been able to find a good hammer mod though, they are either retextures of the standard ones or really over powered. I'm looking for a hammer weapon which is of medium damage (30-50) but with a fairly big DT reduction (maybe 10-15 wouldn't make it overpowered). I believe that an axe or sword would be more damaging to an opponent without armour whereas they might not penetrate thick armour which a hammer would have no trouble with as the sheer force a hammer blow carries is the damage dealer. Does anybody know if something like this exists? Or if there is a retex mod that makes a hammer look like the one from Red Faction? Also does anybody know if there are any retex mods for the hunting shotgun that make it look rusty/badass? Or one for the grenade launcher that makes the barrel/metal parts shiny and the stock/wooden parts the same black plastic used on the Ratslayer? Any help on these would be greatly appreciated.
