  1. I believe it is the thieves guild quest for Vex to find the gems that are puple/pink and float? i know when i stole one from the guy in the reach (dwarven city place) i had them after me and the contract was signed by him.

     

    but my guess is as good as yours.

  2. Here's the PC version of CE. I'm hearing lots of complaints about the quality of the statue though. But I guess that depends on what you're comparing it to. Artbook however is top notch :)

     

    lets not forget teh pipboy they made for certain ones...the quality was shat, but its still epic...

  3. the best advice i can think of giving is:

     

    1) make sure you have fallout 3 properly installed

     

    2) make sure you have the geck properly installed and in the right location(in the main fallout 3 folder)

     

    3) make sure that the GECK is trying to grab files from the right location (Fallout3/data)

     

    other than those simple things i cant think of much else seeing as how im new myself

  4. greetings, i am building a MOD using the GECK and find myself in need of a "pillbox" for part of the lore surrounding the MOD, i can seem to build one correctly out of the things that they give you in the GECK, so i am asking for some help on this one.

     

    ok, so all i would like is a square pillbox with 1 door way(but no door) and 3 windows facing the other directions. here is a pic to help with it:

    now obviously these are old looking pillboxes from WW2, i would like the one you make to look cleaner, more like it was newly built as per the lore of the MOD

  5. playing vanilla F3 I:

     

    1. looty cakes the vault, and kill everyone(cause they arent very nice)

     

    2. head for the hollowed out rock and get my sniper rifle :D

     

    3. sell all the loot and grab jericho as my companion, hes awesome.

     

    4. kill EVERYONE in megaton and loot the armory while getting the bobblehead for strength.

     

    5. blow up megaton(save before you do so you can watch it multiple times :)

     

    6. start gathering random tech for the outcasts so i can get the key to get in, then pump casdin full of random goods and kill him for newly repaired stuff9cheap, i know) then purge the wwastes of everyone who i dont like.

  7. ok, so on making a merchant, im kind of confused, i think you left out something cause im trying to make a merchant and im following your list to the T and im stuck...

     

    once you've finished the greeting, you need to make a merchant diaglouge something like

    (from a NEW TOPIC)

     

    prompt: "Do you have anything to sell?", response text "sell?, to you? well.."

    now that the very bottom you see two boxes labeled "Result Script (Begin)" and "Result Script (END)"

     

    in Result Script (Begin) you need to write a script for the vendor to show the "Barter menu"

    e.g's for vendors

     

    showbartermenu ;abreviates to sbm shows trade menu

    showrepairmenu ;abreviates srm, shows repair menu for player

    showplasticsurgeonsmenu ; character alteration

     

     

     

     

    your GREETING needs to link to your NEW TOPIC by adding "NEW TOPIC" to the Greeting "Add Topics" Window middle right. also add GOODBYE (so you don't HAVE to repair).

     

    right there is where im getting confused, first when you say (from a new topic) i dont know which one to use seeing as how a list comes up to choose from.

     

    also, im not sure what to put down for the script begin and end, im very new to this and its all big and scary jumping into this. i really do appreciate all youve done though, just maybe clear up this for me : )

  8. ok, so a few more questions if you are interested in answering them,

     

    1) how do i setup a merchant?

     

    2) how do i set up "custom" dialogue for when you are just passing by the NPC?

     

    3) how do i make it so NPCs will spawn every(put time amount here) and do a certain thing?

     

    if you can answer those for me, well i will be one happy TKup. lol.

    that is basically what i want just bigger windows. doesnt matter what the inside looks like.

     

    there is a wall in DLC03(broken steel) that has barbed wire on it that would look excellent for the walls and such, i cant find any pictures of what the concrete might look like, but concrete really only has one look, plain white/grey.

  10. ok, so im looking for a new set of models to use for a base im making, i want the look of "fresh-poured" concrete, so very plain and well, concrete looking. i know it doesnt really fit the whole lore of Fallout but i would like to think that its been a long enough time to where people would know how to make concrete by now. anyways, i would like a complete interior/exterior for my mod, just the basics though: floor, wall, corner, ceiling, door opening(only need one size), outside wall, outside corner, ouside roofing(flat so you can make 2 story buildings). i think that would be all i need.

     

    i dont really know if anyone would be interested in it also, but maybe a pillbox type fortifacation too. just the simple WW2 style pillbox nothing fancy, i would like to be able to shoot out of it though.

     

    i dont know how i could repay you for doing this, but i will definately give you kudos for it and give you a BIG thanks in any mod i make where i use it.

  11. ok, so i just started working on a mod about 3 days ago, i have gotten to the point where i am starting to put some NPCs in(outcasts) and was wondering how to set this particular batch of NPCs friendly to me, but not to others without setting the entire faction friendly. any help would be greatly appreciated, and just for info im using the G.E.C.K.
