[A few questions]

I am new to this field and have come up with some problems that I hope more experienced minds can answer....

 

I am on a Vista Windows Computer. I have about 40 mods loaded and apparently working (all are add on quests and lands)

 

Many mods load and appear to be working - well at least the game is running (they are further on than I am but their quests are activated) BUT then the game freezes upon exiting. Till now I have just ignored those mods - is there a way to work around this that anyone knows....

 

Second. I am using an xbox controller.... it seems that with every second loading of a mod - I lose the "Equip" and "Drop" commands from the Pip Boy screen.

 

Third - is there a good book or website with limited techno babble that I could read to get me further along the path

[A Couple of Questions and an Intro]

I am brand new to modding - started last week. I am in my 50's, former actor and current therapist and I started because I wanted to extend my enjoyment of my favourite games - fallout, bioshock, mass effect.

 

Thanks to the Mod manager things are going mostly well

[Loss of "drop" command?]

I was trying to load several mods....... I am a complete newbie on this....... one of which was seducing women. When I finally got it to load, I went to play the game and found that I could not drop any inventory items. The only pip boy command was "repair"

 

A second question would be a good starting place to learn about mods and how to add them would be appreciated.

 

I am using the Nexus Mod Manager - I haven't the skill to do anything manually
