  1. I didn't care much about where ESV would take place so long as the game was created. However, when the series comes to an end, Bethesda needs to create one final ultimate game where you can explore ALL of Tamriel. You know you'd love to explore every land in the world of Elder Scrolls in one single game :P
  2. yes i do because i dont really want any of those games anyways. i can find better things to spend $80 on lol, but better then nothing

I could find better things to get with $80 but when I think about it I'd probably get 1 new game for my PS3 and that'd drop to like $20 and then maybe a used game too. With this I get 10 GBA games and 10 NES games. Quantity wise, it is out weighed. Plus if you tried to find some that will be offered up such as the NES games some of those run around $20+ online so depending on the choice of games, that's over $80 worth of games. At least dealing with online sellers of eBay and Amazon.

  3. Haha just do what that happy face in your post is doing. It'll come back to you

But anyways, I'm not sure if it was covered in here or the skyrim info list but what about throwing a weapon? I loved that feature from DR6 when I was doing stealth kills. I mean bows should be great now since they doing a power boost on them but I'd still like to be able to throw a dagger into my victim from the shadows. Maybe I'm just missing the throwing knives, darts and stars from morrowind.....

  4. Babies I've heard no mention of. However, children are in the info list. I really highly doubt there will be these babies you seem to be talking about. They will have child NPCs working like Fallout 3 had more than likely. So this probably means an age range from 8-15 lets say. As for what races it covers, I can not say as I lack the info.
  5. If a lot of the stuff would work like you guys are talking about I'd really love that. I always like being the rogue. I was never one for brute strength, always speed over strength. Oblivion didn't work out so great stealth wise and daggers were useless to me. But it looks like daggers will actually be of use to me since they'll do extra damage for the stealth backstabs.(according to the skyrim info thread) oh and billyro, I must confess I sat here and went through all those spoilers in your sig before posting this.....
  6. Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time by default

However, favourite M rated retro game deffinately goes to Conker's Bad Fur Day hands down. What other games literally has a pile of crap singing about crap?

  7. there is a story in pokemon?

Of course there's a story in pokemon. you're always trying to stop some group from doing something idiotic to world that they think is a great idea. But I caution you on the newer Resident Evil that's to come out. Resident Evil Revelations. Almost all reviews I've seen from people who played the demo weren't great. Original fans like that they were going back to the survival horror way but were severely disappointed with the monsters and storyline. I think the only way CAPCOM will redeem resident evil in the eyes of the true fans is going back to survival horror instead of action and bringing back the zombies instead of that stupid parasite thing. Mercenaries is fun but I'm more of a fan of the original gameplay style of Resident Evil 0-3.

  8. Good lord where to begin with what I never finished?

Diddy Kong Racing, Donkey Kong 64, Castlevania 64, Morrowind, Borderlands, Amnesia Dark Descent, 007 Golden Eye, Diablo II, Crysis 2, Bioshock, Resident Evil 2-4 and 0, Conker's Bad Fur Day, Need For Speed Hot Pursuit, Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon, all of my Pokemon versions, Dragon Age 2, Little Big Planet 1 & 2, Mercenaries 2 and the list goes on and on with like 100+ games

    Games I have beaten

LoZ: Ocarina of Time, LoZ: Majora's Mask, Turok, Turok 3, Turok Evolution,Fallout 3, Fallout NV, Oblivion, Star Fox 64, Bioshock 2, RE 1 & 5, Rune Factory 3, Simpson's Hit & Run, Sonic DX Director's Cut, Castlevania Legacy of Darkness, Dragon Age: Origins and maybe 3-4 more.

As you can see I have a horrible habit of playing a game then starting another game before finishing what I already had

  9. Hey saw this topic and since I used to be really big on graphics, I thought I'd pop in. I was around for the N64's time always loved it when games improved and graphics became better. When I got into PC gaming, I didn't know anything about computers or graphic cards or even what RAM was. Funny enough Oblivion was my turning point cause I could barely get it to run even on lowest quality! I started looking into stuff and slowly built up the computer to run medium. Later of course I kept improving for the newer games and the top graphics I could pull off. Graphics always took top priority when it came to games for me.

Graphics played a huge role for me until I payed attention and realized that a lot of them suck because they lack a lot of the other elements aside from looks or if it's too dumbed down like comparing Morrowind to Oblivion. I'm a huge RPG fan so customization and choices are a huge thing for me in the games. I held Oblivion above Morrowind because at that time I thought "well it's newer and graphics are better so it must be better." WRONG! When I finally found what I truly sought in RPGs, Morrowind rained supreme. Soo many more skills and choices. Similar applied with the Resident Evil series. I was excited with RE 4 and 5 thought they were amazing and great and they the graphics were really good. Then I played the original 1-3 on my gamecube (plus number 0). The graphics deffinately weren't as great (except the RE 1 remake and RE 0) but I loved it so much more than 4 and 5. They had great game play and story. I actually felt a bit scared in some parts where as I never did in 4 & 5. Puzzles where a pain but I loved them and learned that ammo should always be used sparingly.

In short I learned while graphics are great, they don't guarantee a better game. Older games I've played have turned better than their sequels because the companies decided to make less choices and/or skills (depending on the game) and made things more obvious of what to do so they could appeal to the newer generation which I might be part of that generation come to think of it (I don't know how that all works so maybe).

  10. yea RPGs are the games i want.

Then I would really recommend Rune Factory 3 because it's my personal favourite DS game (aside from Ocarina of Time 3DS), but while it does include fighting monsters and choices of magic, swords, shields, spears, axes, hammers, and magic wands it's also about working your farm or mining or fishing to make money and ultimately dating one of 12 girls and then marrying her (tried playing without marrying and it's impossible to beat game unless you marry). As long you don't mind doing some life role-playing and having to manage a farm and love life it's a great game.

  11. Unless it's drawing, I personally don't use the stylus. I've even played games where you're supposed to use the stylus to move around your menus and stuff on the touch screen but was able to do all that with just the D-pad and buttons so long as the menu paused the game. Most other games I just tap the screen with my finger because I find it can be hard to hold a stylus while pushing buttons and then move my hand away from the buttons just to tap the screen. I only use the stylus if it's being useful and actually adds to the game. Other than that I don't touch my stylus.
  12. I understand you're trying to help but with the very little info I can remember about the game, siting around looking through game titles won't really help to much. It's worked before with a different game but that was only because I played it soo much as a kid and had a basic idea of what the game's name was and I remembered some of the plot so it was easier for me to identify it when I saw it. If no one can offer me some names then I'll likely end up doing that.
  13. yea no GBA games here so i dont have to worry about that. i have a couple of old Gameboy games, but have a Gameboy SP if i ever needed to go back (which i dont really) im still undecided. it looks like if i wanted to buy one, itd have to b a 3DS, simply because thats where all the new games will be heading.

still unsure if i wanna buy one or not, but we will see. my friend is coming over tomorrow, and if i buy one, it will be tomorrow. ill lyk :P

Well 3DS or regular, I could recommend some RPG's (favourite game type) if you like stuff from Natsume. One of my personal favourites was Rune Factory 3 :P

  14. I own both the DSlite (small upgrade from reg. DS) and the 3DS. While the DS lites are smaller and can play all normal DS titles plus gameboy advance games, you could deffinately play more games with it. Since the DSi came out, the ability to play GBA games was taken out and as such the 3DS doesn't support that feature. However since the DSi, access to online play over Wifi is do able which brings up 3DS if you're looking into online play. The 3DS will play of course play the 3DS titles as well ass the original DS games. Game titles are also something to look into. Nintendo is most likely going to be putting out more for the 3DS than regular DS games and also is remaking some classics and adding sequels to previous titles. Ocarina of Time 3D was released and was a nice remake of the N64 classic. Star Fox 3D, Super Paper Mario 3D, Luigi's Mansion 2 and Super Mario 3D are all titles already announced for the 3DS. On top of that the 3DS also has a shop app on it where you can browse around and purchase old game titles such as Link's Awakening and install them onto your handheld device to play whenever you want. You can also get some free trailers from E3 of games that were announced and other little entertainment apps plus a web browser. Overall the 3DS deffinately has the most features and I personally love it compared to my DS lite. However I keep it around to play my GBA games and since an AR hasn't been released for it yet, I use the DS lite when I want to cheat my old DS games. A lot of my favourite titles are being redone or continued on the 3DS so even if I didn't own one, I'd buy it eventually. You could get one of the older DS models to suit your needs now and maybe look into getting a used 3DS when prices drop down.

Resident Evil has also made it's way onto the 3DS if you're looking into a shooter. As far as hardcore gaming goes, Resident Evil Mercenaries 3D was the closest I got with a game on the 3DS.

  15. There was this game I played only once but for years wished I got the name of it. I think it was on the PS2 but all I remember about it was that there were multiple characters to choose from, each being a different class I believe, and was I think medieval themed since they had swords, bows/crossbows, shields, and armor and all of the other medieval weapons. I just remember you were fighting some war with the character of your choosing and the game play was similar to Ninety-Nine Nights where you control your main hero freely in the area and fight the opposing army with the platoon following you. Oh and you could fight on horseback and was in third-person view only. I have a vague memory of it but I remember that I loved playing it and it was on the PS2. I wish I could remember character names or what the plot was but I only got only got to mess around on the field killing people when I got to try it. Does anyone here remember a game like I described? I have been trying to remember for years but have had no luck
  16. I know exactly (at least with the present knowledge of skyrim available) who I'm being in Skyrim. A female wood elf that hunts and steals! During the day the people would see me simply as another huntress but at night I break into their homes and steal their valuables and drink their blood! (Oh yea, will be a vampire for sure  )
  17. I've been getting bored with Oblivion and am running out of things to do in the game :wallbash: I've seen a zombie apocalypse mod (was pretty fun for a while) and a daedric invasion one too. Are there any other of these types of mods out there that are good?
  18. If the game will require online authentication why can't bethsoft do what EA does and have you authentic with them instead of a different company?

you want more company's to do what EA did by making origin?!? srsly? origin is a steaming(get it) piece of poo compared to steam. plus every company making a steam or origin has to be the most god awful idea. if hate the idea of taking 5 secs to sign in to play every game you own on steam, you'll hate the idea of having to sign in to every different company's authenticater to play a game.

Hey not all games are using steam to authentic or even run off of and I've had my own displeasures dealing with steam. I was just giving a little suggestion but clearly that offends you. Not everyone loves steam and I know plenty of people who try to avoid it all together with their games. Plus say that you have all your games on steam and they would require steam to be running in order to play. Now say that your internet is crashed and try running steam to play your games. Doesn't happen. Granted there is offline mode but steam only allows me to use offline mode if I have my account on auto-login, otherwise it just tells me it can't connect and goes nowhere. I honestly don't see the point in the authentication process for the games to begin with. Clearly they're supposed to stop pirating but that's yet to work .

Just go back to simply entering the serial key provided upon installation. It's just about as effective as what they have now. If they really want to have an authentication process then fine but clearly steam hasn't been the ideal choice of a lot of players, including myself, who'd rather not go through it with steam. It's just my opinion. Simple as that. Not forcing you to go along with it in the first place.

  19. I've seen some other people online saying that changing the e-mail with my PSN account might help so I did that and removed the billing info and card on the account too. I'm only doing gift cards and stuff for PSN now. No more using bank cards with them.
  20. I have to agree that steam will be a bad idea with Skyrim. Any time there's a game out that's not done by valve and is available as retail CD or download on steam I always go with the retail CD. I just hate dealing with steam but I like the games that valve makes and are the only ones I feel work best on steam. I understand companies wanting to better protect their games from piracy and make you authenticate the game online, but seriously why through steam? If someone doesn't have, or doesn't want steam, then for them to play the game they HAVE to install steam and have an account just to play a game they don't have on steam in the first place. If the game will require online authentication why can't bethsoft do what EA does and have you authentic with them instead of a different company?
  21. So my buddy and I both bought like 2 things off the PSN Store for mortal kombat (classic costumes and character Skarlet.). This was the only purchase I've made with my card this whole month and a few days later (found it yesterday) I have a suspicious charge of a little more than $2,000.00 on my bank account. I called my buddy about it and he also had some suspicious charges on his bank account. I contacted my bank and the only other charge they listed I made this month was for the stuff on PSN. They say that they must have got my info off of there. Whether people say I'm jumping the gun here or not, I'm ready to say PSN is STILL hacked. Maybe I'd feel less suspicious of this if it weren't for the fact me and my friend BOTH had this happen just a few days after making purchases over PSN or the fact that I only used my card on PSN this one time the whole month.
