Update: That fix did not work.

 

A bit more digging leads me to belive its an issue with how EVGA is interacting with the game :/

 

Therefore, I'll probably end this thread, and only update if I come up with a solution! Any relevant information is still appreciated tho.

On top of that, I'm running it in DX11, I'm fairly sure, would there still be an issue if that is the case? With most games you can choose your rendering/shader(?) between DX9, 10 and 11, such as the S.T.A.L.K.E.R series, but I don't seem to see that option anywhere in Bethesdas starter options, or in BETHINI's options.

 

Does it only run in DX9??

Thank you for the follow up, I was unaware of any issues. that could very well be my problem, I shall look thru that forum as well as try downloading the DX files. I'll update with either the fix or a continued issue

 

On a further note, updating DotNET Framework didn't work, tho it did have to be updated.

I'll give that a try. And yeah, I've looked and no one else seems to have this problem, and maybe I should have worded my issue differently.

So it's not that they "Don't work together" ever. I know that they should. It's that they don't on my rig. I'm not the most tech savvy, but I'm not helpless either, I just don't really know what other things I can try to do to fix it.

No one else around has seemed to have this problem, and I have tried most things that I can think of.

Hopefully updating the framework will fix the issue.

Hello all!!

 

So recently, with my fallout install, I've run into the problem of ENB not working with F4SE installed. It's not a mod, specifically. that is causing the problems, but ENB and F4SE together itself, without a ENB mod on top.

 

When I start up the game, I get an error of "The procedure entry point D3D11On12CreatDevice could not be located in the dynamic library. C/Program Files(86)/EVGA/Precisionx 16/ {precisionxserverhooks_x64.DLL."

 

I have tried reinstalling fallout 4 to fix the problem.

 

I have tried to reinstall F4SE to fix the problem.

 

I have tried to reinstall ENB to fix the problem.

 

I have run Command prompt with the file fixer search, trying to see if i was missing a specific file, and it comes back with all files properly installed.

 

I have restarted and updated my computer.

 

I have installed and ran the current graphics card updates to see if it fixed the problem.

 

None of these things have helped.

 

As far as I can tell, It seems to be a problem related to running F4SE and ENB files together.

 

Or, alternatively, its a problem with my card and I'm not sure where to start fixing that (i'll also mention that I'm not terribly tech savvy), givin that i have updated and reinstalled the graphics driver,b Fallout 4, ENB and F4SE. If anyone has any information on it being a possible card or graphics driver issue, please let me know, but for now lets focus on what could be wrong (within my knowledge) with my install to cause such an error.

 

When i launch fallout 4 without F4SE running, the ENB takes what it can and runs with it, so I have slight shader modifications and a bit better of AO. But when i start up the game, with ENB installed, thru the F4SE, I get the previously mentioned error. F4SE Runs perfectly fine if i leave the ENB out, and has no issues. ENB runs, albeit on a very basic setting, fine when I don't run the game thru script extender. But trying to do both at once leads to a crash on start up with the error.

 

I'm not sure what is wrong, but I'm at my wits end ( as well as google searchs end for answers) and would appreciate any help that could possibly be given about this error.

 

Even, and ESPECIALLY, if it covers something i previously mentioned but maybe didn't think thru all the way.

 

To summarize, F4SE and ENB don't work together on my build, and i am unsure if its because of hardware, software, mod or install compatibility. If someone has anything that could possibly help me with this situation, please let me know, no matter how small.

[CTD when Scrapping / storing in Sanctuary, help required!]

Uninstalling War of the Commonwealth did it for me!

[1 of my mods is making my game stutter]

I ran a lot of the same mods when I was having a wicked stuttering problem, so I cant really help you narrow it down to much, but I had ended up fixing the problem ( For now) By removing my ENB. I switched to Reshades program, and use CLO To control lights and contrast, and got an almost as good result with much less strain on my GPU.

So if you have an ENB, try that.

[ReShade MXAO Noise replacement]

So I use a custom ReShade setting, for my fallout 4, and quite like the MXAO setting or the depth it adds into the game.

However.

The Noise texture it generates is annoying, and very obvious, so I was wondering if anyone knew of a way to reduce it or replace it? For example, tho I'm fairly sure this wouldn't work, Could I pull Kholdrons Noise reducer off of the Oblivion Nexus and use it on Fallout? It's a texture file, so if I have to put in some work to convert it I'm fine with that, but I don't want to attempt such a thing without being sure its doable first.

No Mods or Changes to It? Cuz it sounds like a faulty install if that's the case.

 

If so, uninstall and reinstall, that might fix it.

[Depth of Field issues]

Delete ENBDepthoffield.FX from your Skyrim SE Primary directory, and then go into your ENBSeries folder (Located at the top of your primary Skyrim SE directory ) and deleat ENBDepthoffield.fx.

 

I'm personally using Re-engaged, as well as the ReShade, so it might be a bit different for you. If that is the case, and you cannot find those files, if RubyENB Installed with a Re-shade folder, also locatd in primary directory, go into it and go to the McFx folder, located at the top. Delete the DOF.h.

 

Let me know if this helps you, agian I don't use Ruby, but I have yet to find a solid DoF for SSE, and the few ENBS I have tried usually have the corresponding files.

 

If this doesn't help, go into the download file for RUBY and post all the folders in it on here so I can take a look and see if I can tell you which one.

[Lighting mods Causing screen "dimming"]

I found running combinations of ENBs and Lighting mods can cause interiors and shadowed areas to become unreasonably dark, but in your video I literaly cant see anything. When I used ReEngaged and EleFX I had this problem, but I found a work around by downloading Reshade ( https://reshade.me/ ) and tweaking the settings till I had a decent light level. Mayhaps this will help you if you cant figure out the problem, as it won't make you get rid of anything you currently have, it just takes some... experimenting to get to look good.

Hello! I'm curious if anyone knows if Skyrim SE has a version of this mod:

For those of you who don't want to click on the link, It's a program that goes into the game and generates more polygons for distant landscape loading, creating a much crisper look on Oblivion with drastically reduced jagged lines on far textures. The name of the program is Landscape LOD Generation tes4ll-v5.

 

Is their a program like this available for Skyrim SE yet? Or could I use this one on Skyrim? I know the former question is silly, as chances are I cannot, but it's a third party program that (as far as I can tell with my very limited programming know how) Goes in and re-renders the landscape at a higher quality. Would that be applicable to skyrim, as its not a mod adding loose textures but a program redoing already installed textures.

 

Any info someone has would be wonderful, I can't even play Oblivion without this because of how old it can sometimes look, and I see some of the same problems with landscapes in Skyrim.

I personally have never noticed a difference in say, frame rate or stuttering, when using a bashed patch, but I imagine that lowering the amount of plugins that Sky rim has to address can only be a good thing. I might do some testing and post the results later!

I'm not sure, as it looks like a problem with your distant LOD files, but its probably going to be one of these. Try disabling it and re enabling it, and dont be discouraged, the only way to learn to mod is to make those mistakes! I definitely broke Oblivion to pieces when I first started.

Also, any mods you have that might have changed how the game renders distant objects would do it as well, make sure your well versed in what all of your mods add. Scanning this list, I don't see anything I personally use that would cause this, so my leading guess is Dark Eden or SimplyBigger, as I use SFO myself and have never had this bug.

One last thing, Do try to hide your Mod List behind a spolier, so that we don't have to scroll the distance.

I'm unsure of how licensing rights and distribution of a third party program, such as loot, would be handled on the consoles. As it seems their doesn't seem to be any plans by the devs to port it to consoles. Sorry.

Give it a read, it's basic information on how to build your Load Order, but keep in mind to always always read the descriptions of all the mods you install, as load order isnt a set in stone thing, and some mods will require you to load them in places that don't always make sense (to me at least).

 

Edit: The above link is for Fallout 4, but the basic guidelines should apply across the board with all Bethesda games.

[Sky brightness]

Bump. I've sense found a work around (sort of), but am still curious if anyone knows anything about this, anything pertaining to adjusting light levels on objects throughout the game world, as the only work around i could find are either to return weather to default using the SW 15E Command, or to just lose HDR all together.
