  1. Hi all, This is probably my first post since mid 2010s, hope everyone is well! I'm the original author of Gas Masks of the World for Fallout New Vegas - you can see the original mod here; Gas Masks of the World at Fallout3 Nexus - mods and community In late 2013 I began a port for Fallout 3, then work life balance crept up on me and I stopped modding. Over the past years, I've seen numerous requests for a F3 or F4 port. I think a Fallout 4 port would gain quite a bit of community interest, should someone decide to port it into the new gen. I haven't had a chance to look into the Fallout 4 3D modeling system. I'd imagine it's similar. I think one day I'll get around to learning it and providing the port but in the interim, is there any experienced Fallout 4 modders out there looking for a new project to work on? :nuke:
  2. Does anyone know how to open or convert a .primitives or .model file? I've looked everywhere for these files type conversions and I can't find anything!
  3. There's no point of that, because like I said the mask only covers the head not the neck (so there will be a floating mask). If I were to do this I'd have to make a neck cover, which I've decided to do.
  4. Not the whole head... export only the faces that are part of the head, ie it's neck, that aren't covered by the mask. Obviously delete any hidden geometry. But I have added alpha to the lenses therefor you need to see the players eyes.
  5. That actually is a good idea. Can't believe I didn't think of that. Thanks
  6. Wow I didn't realise I wrote that, anyway what I meant is that the gas mask only covers the head, not the neck. So therefor is I use 'Head Bip' it will cause the players head to look floating since the neck has disappeared. Like the GP-5 gas mask in real life, it only covers the head.
  7. The mask only covers his head not and only part of the neck. Otherwise I would use head slot, but then you will see an invisible floating head :/
  8. Hey guys, I've spent an hour trying to get my GP-5 gas mask to fit properly against the players head. I loaded up the humanhead.nif and attempted to wrap the model around it, but no luck. It either fits - but leaves gaps at the neck. Or it has no gaps - but the players ears and half the head is sticking out. Is there any programs to help with this, or could someone play around with the model for me? Thankyou very much. (I have made an old gp-5 model but I took it off the site, it also didn't fit well either.) GP-5 Gas Mask - Texture WIP http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/images/2729845-1335183621.jpg
  9. This isn't search mate :/ This is for people who have evidence of a lost mod that they would like to find again.
  10. Does any remember the STALKER armor port for new vegas? I used to have it last year, and I said I owed a friend the mod coz it was so cool. And now suddenly its disappeared. After GSCs statement it was allowed to post stalker ports. I can't find it anywhere!? Whats going on, it was really popular...
  11. I've completed all the Thief's Guild Main Quests, now I would like to restore the guild by doing special jobs. But every npc doesn't give me a job. Vex doesn't talk to me. Delvin only trains me to sneak (no missions) and Brynwolf only says how the guild is going. Whenever I speak the Delvin he says ' Talk to me once you've proved yourself to Bryanwolf'. I have. This is pretty annoying seemings theres lots of rare items in the special quests. Any get around ideas or console commands? Please help me... EDIT: He also says ' come back later I might have some work for you'.
  12. I have all enchanting perks and 100 skill. I have gone the right side of the smithing chain. Maybe I need to go the left as well to make and improve leather armors?
  13. For some reason I can't improve my thief's guild armor, gloves and hood. But I can improve the boots... I have the perk for upgrading enchanted items. Here's a picture for proof. http://i1081.photobucket.com/albums/j354/TheLozza/2011-11-30_00001.jpg Do I need the leather armor perk? Cause I have the whole heavy skill chain done, not the light though.
