Wow... I'm so sorry it took me so long to see your reply. Thanks so much for the response. I have done all the above, and then some. After having uninstalled and removed the accidentally installed LE mod, I logged in, created a new save and quit back to desktop. I then backed up my saves in a completely unrelated folder, and then deleted all of my previous saves from my game, and from the steam cloud. I then reinstalled the proper SSE/AE mod and logged back in. It installed fine, and no errors yet. But then I saw that the first two note that the LE mod added to my inventory were STILL in that bookcase. So it couldn't have fully uninstalled. Going back to Vortex to see if I could figure out the issue, the error started coming up. It still comes up... but it comes and goes. I really don't get it. I think I'm just learning to live with it now. Everything seems to work as it's meant to. It's kist the error message that I can't fix that makes me nuts. lol.

Please forgive me if this question has been answered elsewhere, but I have been combing through the forums and while I've seen many posts about this error, I can't find an answer that solves my particular issue with it. I know what the error means, and why it's come up, but now I can't get rid of it. TL;DR version: - I accidentally installed a Skyrim LE mod on my Skyrim SSE/AE game version. (1.6.640.0) (Please don't judge... it was late, I was tired, and I'm stupid when I'm tired.) :confused: - I played for a while with it, made a save, exited the game. - Opened Vortex the next day, saw the error, realized what I'd done. :pinch: - Uninstalled the LE version & removed it, then downloaded and installed the SSE version of the same mod. - "Incompatible Archive(s)" error still pops up. - My game works fine, the mod seems to be functioning as intended, but this stupid error... I'm baffled, and it's driving me crazy! Please help me! How do I get rid of this error? Is there still some residual file somewhere that I can, or should have deleted? If so, where is it? I've searched the <filename>.bsa on my entire hard drive and it doesn't find it. The plugin is NOWHERE in my plugins list in Vortex. This mod adds two notes to my inventory in order to toggle the mod on and off, once I had it the way I wanted it, I stashed the notes in a bookcase. The 2 notes that the LE mod added are still in there, alongside the two from the SSE mod. Detailed Version: I was watching YouTube mod videos, and saw one about a mod that would solve an issue I was having. I followed the link in the video description and downloaded and installed the mod. I didn't see any error messages at the time and I ran and played the game for a while, created a save and exited. The next time I opened Vortex, the "Incompatible Mod Archive(s)" error popped up, and I realized that I'd followed a link from an OLD video and followed a link to the Skyrim LE version of the mod. (Please don't judge me... The hours were wee and I was tired, and I'm stupid when I'm tired.) I uninstalled, then removed old mod, then found the Skyrim SSE version of the same mod, and installed that one. I thought that would be the end of that, but the error STILL comes up.

I know this is an old post, but in case it's useful to someone else who finds themselves here, as I did... there IS this mod for SE: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/55574?tab=description It's called "Let Me Drop It". It includes nearly all quest items from vanilla game and all DLCs. The mod author as of today, is still working to add any missed items as people report them, and updating the mod frequently.

UPDATE: As of today, July 4th... Images are finally working for me again. :) Should I still be having issues loading images? It's been a few days since that post was made. I'm fine if it takes a bit longer, just want to make sure it's not just me, since I've seen others saying it's working for them now. :smile: It's not just sluggish, the images just won't load at all for me, in any of the three browsers I use. Thanks :smile:

Hi there, I'm new to nexusmods and am loving it so far, but am still trying to figure out how to find certain types of mods, or more specifically what to use as keywords when searching. So far, a certain mod I would love to have, has eluded my searches, though I'm sure with so many amazing mods here, SOMEone has to have made this already: I'd like to find a mod that will allow me to dress/undress my spouse in the house. (No, I'm not a pixel perv! :P LOL) But I love mods that make things more realistic, and I just can't get past my followers, and my spouse, Vorstag walking around the house, and especially sleeping in their armour. -- low level armour at that! I work hard so Vorstag can have the best of the best... why would he still even HAVE that stuff? ;) Could anyone direct me to a mod that would allow me to give him a set of clothes to wear around the house/sleep in, AND a set of armour/weapons that he can equip when I ask him to follow me? Super huge thanks in advance. :) ~Ravey PS- If this is not the place where I should have posted this, I apologize... it seemed like the best fit.
