  1. You could try to use the boardwalks from Fallout 3's Point Lookout. I'm not sure if they would work but I don't feel like starting up the GECK right now.
  2. You can create a duplicate of a weapon, give it your own texture set, change the ID and ingame name slightly, then place it in a convienent place to pick up in-game. This way your weapon can have a different texture than everyone else's.
  3. You don't have to uninstall FOMM, just unistall all of the specific mods that you have in New Vegas, then delete them from your New Vegas section of FOMM.
  4. Whenever you want to know somethings item code I recommened going to http://fallout.wikia.com/
  5. Are you planning on putting the house inside of a vanilla cave? I would strongly recommend that you just build your own cave system, that way it can be any size that you want. If you do build your own cave system, personally, I would use the entrance to a Vault (the undergroud beggining with the Vault door in it).
  6. In the GECK under miscellaneous you should be able to create a new texture set (the name of the file should not matter), then apply the texture set to the armour. If you do it like this then I don't think that the name of the file matters at all.
  7. first of all I would recommened downloading the Fallout Mod Manager (also called FOMM) http://newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=36901 If your game is in the default place then the data folder should be at OS/Program Files (x86)/Steam/SteamApps/Common/fallout new vegas/data
  8. I just tried this without any mods and it worked fine. I think that you can repair modded weapons with non-modded ones.
  9. http://newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=36558 You should check out this mod. It's similar to what your talking about, but instead of allowing you to refill any bottle, it adds canteens to the game that are automatically refilled when you drink at a water source. I am new to this too, so I don't know how you could create the mod that you were talking about, but it may be helpful to check out the canteen mod in the GECK to see how it works.
  10. I was using FOMM's bsa browser and I noticed that there is two different textures for the service rifle: one for the battlerifle, and one for the battleriflerec. what is the battleriflerec? Is it the version of the service rifle with a forged reciever attached to it?
  11. I've been trying to modify the textures of some ingestibles, but I can't find some of them. I've done this succesfully with a few items such as buffout, beer, and whiskey, but I can't find the textures for other items such as bubblegum, cram, mac and cheese etc. it would be appreciated if someone could help me find them. Thanks.
  12. If you don't have the computer version of the game then you can't mod it. FOMM means fallout mod manager, and NVMM means new vegas mod manager.
