  1. I've searched everywhere and I did not find a fix for my problem at all, so I thought of asking here instead: The tail-animation of beast races is rather buggy, as many other players might have experienced. For example the 'sideways-tail-glitch' of Argonians when sneaking. But yet, there's another glitch bugs me more: When running with either beast race, the tail starts to waggle rapidly from side to side; instead of waving smoothly as if responding to the body movement. When walking or sprinting the animations are totally okay. This has gone so far that I can not play as a beast race anymore since this little glitch annoys me that much... So if anyone out there knows how to deal with problem, so please share your answer now! I wouldn't go as far as to say that I'm desperate for a solution but I did a great deal of searching for a solution on my own and I did not find a valuable piece information about the problem whatsoever.
  2. I don't know if any of you guys noticed this but the model of the Mythic Dawn Robes seems kind of buggy/glitchy. When moving/walking and especially when sneaking, the left arm and the lower part of the robe (down at the feet) behave in a strange and abnormal way. I've already literally searched all over the internet and found no existing fix by now. Sooo... since I'm terrible with modelling... maybe someone could have a look in this issue and fix the model of the robe.
  3. Never thought about that, actually. Since I'm, lets say, an advanced modder, I'm not that good with scripting and making quests, so When the mod is finished, the home bases just will be there in the wasteland, ready to be inhabited. About the justification to own a house... Gaining reputation with a faction seems a bit old fashioned to me. Surely, it will be enough to justify the possession of such a base but owning a house shouldn't be connected with siding a particular faction. This could be reasons to own a home base: - Finding an abandoned, maybe remote building (like I intended), so nobody cares, who inhabits it (currently my three bases are located in the El Dorado Substation, in a new building in Nipton and in one of the abandoned buildings north of the Aerotech Office Park) - Taking it over from Raiders, or finding dead survivors in it for example - exterminate some creatures in there - getting access to a mechanically sealed base by hacking a computer terminal - discover a building --> note at the front door, locked --> following instructions on note, maybe a farewell note --> kind of paper chase to find the key - getting knocked over and kidnapped by some crazy guy --> wake up in building --> kill crazy guy --> taking over house - finding survivors in a boarded up building, which is attacked by raiders --> help survivors --> raiders break through door --> awesome fight --> survivors get killed/flee in the turmoil --> survive the attack --> new base - just buying it from someone, maybe the crimson caravan... All in all, i thought of less political reasons to justify the posession of a base, like it would fit for a post-apocalyptic world.
  4. Hey guys and girls! I'm currently working on a compilation for Fallout: New Vegas, including some boarded up, dark and dusty home bases in the style of "post nuclear war", "breakdown of society", "scavenger refuge", "survival shelter", stuff like that. Currently, there are three locations: An old gas station, converted to a small retreat (based on El Dorado Substation) Yep, that's ED-E and Veronica relaxing in their new, cozy shelter ;) A shadowy, dilapidated but boarded up saloon (based on Big Horn Saloon) A fortified former grocery store (based on Westside Co-op) These aren't finished yet, so there won't be a downloadable file soon. I started this topic because I wanted to know, what do you think about this idea and do you have other ideas for further home bases? (And I am very well aware of the fact, that the fictional nuclear war happened over 200 years ago and since then, the inhabitants of the Mojave Wasteland and New Vegas developed new, (more or less) civilized societies, similar to pre-war society and most buildings in the desert have been stripped clean, but I am a huge fan of post-apocalyptic scenarios and the desert is still (or moreover especially now) full of dangers and hazards. So... yeah... home bases in ruined old-world buildings )
  5. Ok thanks guys, I'll try it out when I finally start the Companion questline (not my favorite questline, but I want to keep my journal clean ;))
  6. I have a possible solution for everyone that has this bug and doesn't want to start a new game. (Like me) My character is level 45 by now, finished several big questlines, including dawnguard. 'The way of the voice' was still to go. The result: questline broken, the greybeards won't gather in the main hall of high-hrothgar and so on... (caused by an update) The trick is to skip the quest via the console, using setstage mq105 50, then setstage mq105 58, 70, 80, 120, 160. The questline will now be finished and you learned the two words involved in the quest (still have to unlock them w/ dragon souls). Problem is, that the next quest, 'The Horn of Jurgen Windcaller' won't trigger... You have to skip this quest completely by starting the following questline, 'A Blade in the Dark' with setstage mq160 30 and setstage mq106 50 (since Delphine behaves strangely in the first quest stage). Head out to the Dragon burial site and continue with the main quest line! Additionally, you may want to teach yourself the final word of Unrelenting force (which you should be granted by the greybeards when you retrieve the horn of jurgen windcaller), since the Greybeards won't talk to you anymore  So far, it worked for me and I hope it works for you folks too. I know, it is not the most elegant way to fix this problem, but I couldn't live with the knowledge, that I was not able to complete the main quest line. PS: I don't know, how the Greybeards will behave, if you have to consult them again to see Paarthurnax, since it involves all the greybeards to gather again, i think. When I'm far enough in the main quest line, I'll let you know.
  7. Hey guys, simple question: I have a fully grown Vampire Lord with all perks and stuff. If I get cured of vampirism, and later being infected with it again, do I still have all the perks?
  8. Hey pal, I just wanted to ask why your file is hidden and if/when you are going release it?
  9. Hey guys, my problem still exists... any suggestions how to solve it so far? I have experienced, that I get more (maybe more stable) map markers the more mods I disable. But I don't want to play completely without mods like 'realistic ragdoll force' or 'dr bandolier'... Sooo... If ANYONE out there in the internet knows, how I could solve this, please let me know.
  10. Yep, floating map markers are activated; all others are displayed properly. Also, I don't have mods installed that change/remove/add map markers at all... So that doesn't seem to be the problem. :(
  11. Hey, I hope someone can help me with this... Sometimes, the map markers on the compass and the floating markers ingame are missing. reloading helps, but I don't want to reload the game everytime, the markers are missing... I found some similar topics, but there was no solution at all. and before you ask: yes, i checked the quests in the journal. If there is a way to fix this, please answer asap. thanks in advance
  12. shalabajzer, you're not alone! I also don't support these mods. They destroy this beautiful artwork, which adapts certain nordic myths, architecture and culture. And that's the point: It is a NORDIC-inspired game!! Of couse, we are not forced to install these mods, but it is quite annoying to scroll over tons of anime mods until a nice lore-friendly mod appears. Also, I don't understand, why people buy the game and make anime mods. If they like anime, then they should buy a anime game! I know, i can't change other people's behaviour with my opinion, but I'm always happy to see, when others share it!
  13. Hey guys, I really love the scaled armor, but it it kind of annoying, that it has this metal shoulder pad on one side, which completely destroys the symmetry. It would be awesome, if someone, who has more experience in modeling than me can remove this metal shoulder pad from the male armor. And I also have a similar request, concerning the studded armor with both the metal and the leather shoulder pad on one side and no shoulder pad on the other; so it would be great, if someone wants to remove the metal shoulder pad and add another leather pad on the other shoulder... But I would be fully pleased, if someone could just remove this annoying metal shoulder pad on the scaled armor.
