  1. A little clarification, when I said SNB above HM, I meant to move it first in the load order. It still doesn't sound like it was helpful advice, but mine goes: Settlement Keywords Snap N Build Homemaker etc. It sounds like you got the problems solved except for Northland so, moving on. Have you tried using other programs to set your load order? I always use LOOT after messing around with mods. I let it set my load order, then reorder the three above manually. I almost always open up Wrye Bash as well, and search for any orange mods. If there are orange ones, I try to fix them. This normally involves sorting their masters in FO4Edit. And, just to ask the about the easy solution - you sure you're looking in the right place for them? (Resources / Misc.)
  2. Hello all, I was thinking of two mods that I'd like to see. First, I'd love to see some exercise equipment made as workshop objects. I was thinking of something like a bench press station, squat rack, heavy bag, pull up bar, and maybe even a rowing machine. I was thinking that it would be made out of salvaged-looking parts, so the rower could have a large spring that provides the tension or be a defunct motor that'd have a pull cord (if such a thing existed - I don't know of any pull-start fusion reactors.) While I'm throwing things out there, it'd be nice to have some racked weights, floor and/or wall mounted. Maybe even a gym station like an open locker, short table, hanging hooks, etc with towels, a jump rope, boxing gloves, or whatever on/in it. Either way, I've made a few gyms and while you can pretty easily make a bench press with parts already in game, it'd be nice to have some that are already made and that don't use cigars as the pegs to hold up the bar. The other thing I'd love to see, once the GECK is released, is a way to sort the settlement menu. I have lots of crafting mods installed and there are duplicates. Moreover, items are sorted into inappropriate categories or are sorted inappropriately within categories (here, inappropriately means that it's not what I, personally, would pick.) I would love to be able to sort these out in game, but would even be happy with some sort of arrangement like setting up DEF_UI. It'd also be nice to add functionality like recently used sets, favorite items, a category where you could sort things to if you don't plan to use them but still want them available or their assets to be in game, and I am sure there are other useful things. I searched around on this forum for the first idea a bit, but didn't see much about it. As for the second, I was already talking so why not. Obviously, I have no skills or I'd already be on this kind of thing. Anyway, just something I was thinking about. Thanks for reading.
  3. Hello all, I've been using Spring Cleaning for a while now, but was redoing my mods yesterday. I thought I'd give Scrap Everything a try and used the new .esm version (1.96). l wasn't able to scrap anything with it. I uninstalled, did SE 1.95, still nothing. Uninstall, reinstall Spring Cleaning. Nothing. I cycled through this again while weeping quietly. I did get one version of SE to work briefly, but decided that the scrap list was a little liberal and wanted to convert back. I've gone into the data folder and looked to make sure the files were deleted when NMM said they were, as I thought that may be the cause. My question is, how do I get Spring Cleaning to work again? Thanks! Edit: Figured it out. I needed to put bUseCombinedObjects=0 back into the .ini for Spring Cleaning to work.
  4. Hey, I don't know how helpful either of these will be, but: From what I understand, if you're using the SK version of Snap'N Build, the .esm needs to go above Homemaker's in the load order. That causes CTD for me if I don't fix that after a Loot sort. Also, about the Northland thing - have you tried manually copying the files from Northland into the Data folder (or wherever the page tells you, if it's different.) I had a few things (rugs, curtains, walls) not show up in the build menu, have a place reserved but be invisible, etc. It was because NMM hadn't copied all the files over correctly. When I did it manually, they were there. Hope it's helpful, because I certainly can't tell you anything about the space issue. Though, do you have autosave turned on? Maybe it's making a number of autosaves, using up the disk space you'd use for a hard save?
