Cheers mate! I'll try this and while at it keep the original copy on the hdd in case of something going wrong so I can always revert everything back.

So, I've been thinking about moving my Skyrim installation from my HDD to an SSD, desirably alongside with the mod folder. What needs to be done so that this process could take place without much blood or even completely smooth and seamless? It's obvious that the game itself won't lose links to the documents folder that holds all the important settings, inis, prefs and saves but I'm concerned that vortex will not correctly recognise new installation and will attempt to reinstall all modifications or something like this. In short what do I need to know to safely and painlessly move the game and mod folders from one disk to another?
