  1. I guess there really isn't anything wrong with the engine, only the RPG elements and we already know the game can have both FPS and RPG elements and be a better game. Bethesda just has never been good at the Role Playing experience.
  2. Keep in mind all, Microsoft also purchased Obisidian so it could go either way, bad or good. Microsoft, definitely has the deep pockets, they have the developers for it (both Obsidian and Bethesda) but are they going to keep the modding community open or try to capitalize on it? If they use both Bethesda to make the landscape and Obsidian to write the story, that could be one good Fallout game. In other words, use each studio for their strengths. Bethesda's role play writing is horrible but Fallout 3 landscape rocked, and New Vegas was awesome for a true role playing wasteland. If Microsoft blows it for FO5 and etc, I rather want the Fallout assets to go to CD Projeckt Red since they know how to make video games especially in role playing. I can't speak for Elder Scrolls, I never played Skyrim and played ESO for two hours and quit after being too bored.
  3. The last time I tried Vortex, it didn't work like I wanted. I will try it one more time. In all honesty, I liked MO2 and NMM better than I did Vortex Alpha. But I will give Beta, another try.
  4. In response to post #64344181. Bethesda is going to ruin it before Nexus ... LOL
  5. In response to post #57676166. #57705431 is also a reply to the same post. It would have to come after Sim Settlements. It's weird, you can see the .esp file but it never makes it to plugins where it needs to be. Maybe the name of the esp is too long? That's what I will do, change the ESP name and repackage it. If that doesn't fix it, I will report it as a bug on the Feedback page.
  6. Gopher has posted Vortex videos.

  8. Message to Tannin or maybe others, When I try to load my current game, it states that Sim Settlements AddOn JtBryant's Foundations is missing even though I reinstalled the mod from the Nexus since receiving that warning message. Even after I enable and deploy mods after that mod's installation, the .esp is still missing from plugins and continue to receiving the missing .esp warning.

It actually helps you make your game more stable once you figure how to use them. Look up the conflicts (aka dependencies) at the mod's website and load accordingly. There may be some trial and error. As for those with no masters, just disable those. Make sure to fix loose files. I am thinking for small load orders, you can be a novice and install Vortex but the larger the NMM install is, you may want to be more intermediate level or start from scratch installing your new game. I am still working on getting me install working.

People are caught up that since Tannin developed it, it is like MO. This is not even close, MOs were much more involved than this. We will see if it handles TTW as good as FOMM or MO did.

It takes a bit for it to register when you are on stage 2 setup in the import tool and Tannin even has that message of" being patient, may take a while" in the Import Tool Setup wizard. Although, I do have experience with MO and MO2, and then there is Cisco ISE or Identity Services Enigine (now there is a piece of software you need patience with, especially when upgrading).
  12. Disregard my bug report, I just wasn't patient enough to let the mods to fully register before starting to import in which I was receiving that error. Although, perhaps a condition check should be added stating mods have not been registered yet, please be patient instead of registering a bug report. But then again, this is alpha and the bug report may end with adding that condition check. I am still importing my game and then I have to do the clean up before testing running the game. So far I like the UI. Those that don't, just admit you don't like change ... LOL I'll have to test this on TTW see if it can handle large file installation like MO/MO2 can. NMM could not or mostly not and was suggested not to be used with TTW. I hope more skins are released. Bright is too bright and default is Nexus Look.
  13. In response to post #57592416. Wow, ancient MO there, not even MO2. But yeah, I must admit, 1.3.11 is nice.
  14. Happy Belated Birthday Witcher and what is even better, there will be a Witcher 4! LOL, I already posted on this thread. Oh well, Happy B-day again to my most favorite RPG video game of all time! The game successfully transferred me to another world.
  15. In response to post #56215286. Necro post, oh well. Yes it is, I am currently using mods for Witcher 3. Now is it as moddable as other games, maybe not? But saying it is unmoddable is completely untrue.
