It's been a while, and I'm still having trouble finding a fix anywhere. It's almost impossible to navigate outdoors with it being so dark, and torches, lanterns, etc. doesn't help a bit. The only real option for night-time navigation is playing a race with, or obtaining the skill, night-eye - but even then, night eye isn't that pretty.
