  1. An have you tried doing that again? Did you try waiting 3 in-game days? Most new quests take about that long to come up.
  2. Little patience wouldn't go amiss. Not to mention it's in the wrong sub-forum. Have you tried re-installing the mod?
  3. Download FOMM - from here Follow the installation instructions for that. Download Fellout. Open FOMM. Click Package Manager. Click Add FOMod. Scroll to where-ever your downloads folder is, and select the zipped fellout file. Click Open. Click the fellout filename that's now in the list on the package manager screen. Click Activate. Close the Package Manager window. Click and drag the fellout filename to the correct place in the load order (should be in a readme or it should be there on the webpage). Launch NV :P N.B. This is assuming Fellout can be installed with FOMM, I haven't actually looked at the page yet :P
  4. GTA:4 is horribly CPU and RAM dependant. FO:NV is graphics dependant. You really cannot compare the two. You have an awful graphics card. Also, despite what you think, you have a LOW end system not a high end system. It was a mid-end system about 4 years ago! The minimum specs are what you just quoted, the minimum - that's to run the game vanilla (with NO mods) with all settings at their lowest.
  5. FO:NV is far more heavily gpu dependant than cpu. Even a lowly dual @ 3.6 should be perfectly capable of managing seeing as the game is optimized for 2 cores ;) HD4870 for £100 is pretty good deal, but you could a get a new HD5770 for similar money (in the UK anyway) that just edges it performance wise.
  6. Trust me, it's a bad card. You'd only need to spend about $100 dollars to get a much better used card, and $200 dollars will get you a high end graphics card. I'm currently using a $350 graphics card that I bought not 6 weeks ago. It's a low-high end graphics card and my fps drops down to 28 running around in Wastes with a few UHQ texture mods and Ultra settings.
  7. I'd say its a combination of graphics and cpu power - or rather the lack of! GTS250 was a mid-end card when it came out 2-3 generations ago - now it's very very slow :P The high clock speed of the CPU does help a lot, I would look to get a new graphics card!
  8. CPTNBoJangles, try installing them with FOMM - it can be found here
  9. Yes it is, I'm running several mods off mine :P It's typically in C:/Program Files/Steam/steamapps/common/fallout new vegas/Data
  10. Did that, seems to be working now - well, no graphics bugs anyway! Still no quest though?
  11. I'm using FOMM, and under the tab there it's ticked, so I assume so. Do I need another variation?
