  1. Thank you, that was a good suggestion and helped me figure it out!
  2. I'm working on converting a candle model from the vanilla game into a torch like object. I have been successful in making the character carry the candle correctly, however the problem is with the flame. When the character is stationary in third person the flame is in the correct position, but when moving the flame lags far behind the candle. Is it possible to make the flame more consistently hover directly over the candle during movement? Additionally in first person the flame seems to very rarely stay in the correct position, and most of the time it doesn't even appear on the screen. If anyone knows of ways to fix these issues let me know  I will link some relevant images below for better context: Nifskope Block List First person flame this particular image shows a weird occurrence that I haven't been able to duplicate, in the bee and barb. The flame at the bottom of the screen is a demonstration of the usual strange positioning of the flame, however the further flame remains in that location no matter where the player moves, but will move with the players first person animations(for example if the player were to block with the candle the flame would move to being positioned horizontally, or angle depending on how the player is positioning their camera, but it will not move from that particular spot.) Two flames in first person Thanks in advance for any help provided!
  3. In response to post #27352899. Read the whole post, they're still hiring a community manager.
  4. Yeah, whenever I hear of a site being DDoSed, I have no idea why someone would do that. For servers I can slightly understand, because some people do it out of competition, but there is no excuse for DDoSing an innocent site such as this.
  5. I don't know how to fix this glitch. It hasn't actually ever happened to me, so I don't know anything about it really. I'll look into it in my spare time, but I doubt I can figure this one out. Sorry. :(
  6. I don't see how what you're asking for makes any difference! It is pretty simple to just ignore the quests, and that is one of Skyrim's main features already. Maybe if you explain a bit more I could help you out.
  7. I guess someone would need to get the mesh and textures, and then convert them to work with the Skyrim skeleton and all that. I would try, but I can't get nifskope and blender working on my computer.
  8. Yes, I was thinking about it, and maybe someone could create a sort of fire effect that surrounds it and glows, and then also it would be white and ghostly and pure awesome. ;)
  9. Also I would like to know if there are any epic wizard robes out there. Currently I am stuck with the Archmage robes (With HD texture), and I havn't been able to find any good replacements for it. I know about tribunal robes, but I personally dislike them. Otherwise I have only found female robes and a few other ones I dislike, like the cleric robes. If you have seen an epic wizard robe (that includes male version) then it would be epic if you could tell me one. :P
  10. I would like to know if their is a mod enhancing the visuals of spiritual things, such as spirit wolves, ghosts, and bound weaponry. Currently these things are just a transparent version of the actual model, and what I am looking for is a mod that changes this to be much more immersive and "ghostly."
  11. I don't know about you, but I personally am sick of the ghostly apparitions on Skyrim. They certainly look like ghosts, but they also certainly lack the feel of ghostliness, and for this reason I would like to suggest a mod to change this problem. Look at this for example: http://images.uesp.net/thumb/0/0d/SR-creature-Wolf_Spirit.jpg/180px-SR-creature-Wolf_Spirit.jpg I am sadly lacking in knowledge, and have no idea how to mod much to the game, but my idea would be for spiritual creatures (and bound items) to have a fiery wavy effect (like bound items already have), and then to add a strong glowing effect onto that so that all detail of the actual object becomes a more immersive and haunting spirit. I am sure this can be incorporated, as the bound weapons already have this "fiery" effect, and I have seen mods with glowing capabilities. I am willing to creature textures, mess around with things, and help in the process of creating a mod like this. I simply need the knowledge and guidance of someone who has the capability of shaping this idea into reality.
  12. Solved my problem: It was an anti-lag d3d9.dll I was using.
  13. Please help me. I am really into modding games, but I won't be able to if I can't fix this problem!
  14. My creation kit has stopped working. My game is modded quite a bit, but not overly so, and when trying to load my Skyrim.esm on its own, or even when trying to load everything at once, it always says: Assert File: C:\_Skyrim\Code\TESV\BSCORE/BSTScatterTable.h Line: 282 Scatter table has been trashed. There are then three options: Abort, Retry, or Ignore. All of which result in the creation kit crashing. Can anyone explain what this means, or how to fix it? The creation kit itself offers no solution or help on it. :/
