hey all! need help making a craft-able blood bag, I've only ever made one mod and it made one item craft-able, i'm now trying to learn how to make another craft-able with a twist... i'd like to be able to craft a blood bag, using an empty blood bag/ iv bag and a set amount of the players health, I've not found a way to use health in the crafting system at all, (if you know a way please let me know) so i thought the best way would be to make the empty bag a consumable item that when consumed, removes a small portion of health, along with the bag, and then adds a blood bag to the players inventory (like nuka cola adds a bottlecap). the blood bag it adds would be different from other blood bags in the game, using the same texture but having another name and id, something like "my blood bag" etc. (key part of this mod is the "players blood bag" will be in the game alongside the original blood bag, its a setup for another mod idea.) so far I've not found a way to: add a new item that co exists with an original item (blood bag and also a "my/players name blood bag" Using same textures just different id) remove health when using a consumable. remove health via the crafting table. auto add an item after using a consumable. (like nuka cola giving a bottlecap) if anybody knows how to do any of the above i would be extremely grateful if you could lend me a hand or if you really know what you're doing, maybe you could give it a shot at creating it yourself, either way any input is greatly appreciated.
