  1. The Witcher games are about making meaningful decisions, so being able to carry huge amounts / weights of items would not fit very well. However, we understand that some players prefer not to have restrictions like this. So, we are glad to see community members producing mods that allow the game to be tailored accordingly.
  2. To expand a bit on the previous reply, many of the decisions involve options that are not clearly good or bad, good or evil, right or wrong, etc. You may prefer certain choices depending on the type of character you're playing, the path you're taking through the game, etc., but if you play again in a different manner, you may well have different preferences at the same decision points. You may also find some different decision points.

TW2 picks up the saga of the main character, Geralt, soon after the end of TW1. However, it is a standalone game / adventure; i.e. it is not necessary to have played the first game to enjoy the new one.

  3. The DLCs included in patch 1.2 are the Troll Trouble side quest, the opportunity to give Geralt 5 additional hairstyles by visiting certain NPCs, and 6 DLCs that were originally pre-order bonuses.

Please note that the alchemist, mage and swordsman DLCs, which are often referred to as "suits" are probably better thought of as "packs" since they contain helpful items but not full sets of clothing. The alchemist one has gloves, the mage on has trousers, and the swordsman one has no clothing.

  4. It would be more accurate to refer to the swordsman, mage and alchemist DLCs as "packs" rather than "suits". The herbalist pack includes one item of clothing, gloves plus other helpful items. The mage pack is similar except the clothing item is trousers. The swordsman pack includes assorted items but no clothing.
  5. Hello I bought the witcher 2 game today but unfortunately the game camera seems to move everywhere so i can't see where I am going. I also believe my character is moving too slow is this perhaps because i am playing on a laptop. I just wonder if there was anything i could do as I can't seem to move anywhere make any progress in the game. Thanks very much.

Patch 1.1 fixes many issues on many different PCs, and Patch 1.2 which is scheduled for release today will fix more. If installing them still does not allow you to play, please contact our support e-mail at [email protected]
