  1. I'd argue that all of them aged great, given the horribly buggy state they were released in and the hardworking modders that released/continue to release patches. You're definitely better off playing them now than you were at launch anyway. Plus, it's not a remaster but we're getting Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 next year... which I'm tentatively hyped for. Very tentative. (I really hope they don't mess up Malkavians...)
  2. I know I owned a SNES as a small child but I don't remember what games I played on it (the only thing I do remember about it was sticking coins in the game slot... which I think was what ended up break it)... so that's unfortunate. The first game I actually do remember playing was Turok: Dinosaur Hunter for the N64 (not by choice, it came with the console). Quite a violent game for a young child (and I think where my fear of raptors originated from). :P
  3. *Head-scratch* Well, I may as well offer my 2 cents even if I don't have a definite answer for you... Some input is better than no input, I s'pose. 1. You have around 250+ mods - that's a lot of mods. Do you use BOSS to sort them? Perhaps it takes awhile for your game to sift through all those scripts in order to find the correct one. 2. Have you removed many mods on that save file? Script data stays in that save file forever, even if you uninstall and remove that mod. Try starting a new game - do you still have that delay? There, 2 cents. I hope you find out what's wrong. I've never had that problem (my Skyrim prefers to immediately CTD :P ) so I'm not too much help. ... Hmm, wait. You're using Skyrim Script Extender (SKSE), right? I just wanna make sure I've covered everything I can cover, since SKSE is pretty much a necessity.
  4. Well, this is my newest (and so far - favourite character). She has done... well... absolutely nothing, I suppose. I think she finished a few small side quests but other than that I've just been exploring with her. Since she's new she doesn't have much of a story as of yet... I might put up a longer story for fun or I might forget. I kind of took her personality from Houtarou Oreki from Hyouka. :P I prefer to think she has absolutely no connection with the Dragonborn as well. Name: Sylvia Race: Lunari (since it's so easy to make a pretty character with them!) Specialization: Archery Short Description: A lazy wanderer and, when she's in need of gold for whatever reason, a reluctant (yet efficient) mercenary - Sylvia lives life at her own pace, preferring the company of the countryside and its sights to the loud and foul-smelling atmosphere of the local tavern/inn. Although she rarely ever goes out of her way to help or hinder others, if she sees a problem that could be easily solved by an arrow then that's where the arrow will go. "If I don't have to do it, I won't. If I have to do it, I'll make it quick." http://i.imgur.com/cHXX0B7.jpg http://i.imgur.com/xNE3W33.jpg(She completely and utterly missed this shot - the elk teleported across the stream before the arrow hit. She went hungry that day and vowed to never speak of it again.)
  5. I didn't even know this existed... I'm so hyped! Wait wait... calm down... Can't get too hyped...
  6. Oh God no... I hate pigs, they sound like demon spawn... :ohdear: That'll do pig... That'll do... Though I suppose my inner masochist will end up making me buy it...
  7. Scaling I guess. He was a lower level so his monsters don't hit as hard as yours... That's my best guess at any rate. Edit: Spelling errors... :wallbash:
  8. Also, confused Emperor: Thinks he can has a last wish Asks the Listener to kill his employer. I take you dont know much about the Dark Brotherhood i guess? Pfft, I still did it. Screw that employer guy, the old dude met his fate with dignity. Also... uh, shouldn't this be under the spoilers section?
  9. ... I can't help myself. You should... <snip> Don't waste forum space with irrelevant stuff. Ehem, moving on...
  10. Do you get to the Cloud District very often? Oh, what am I saying - of course you don't. :hurr: Also, what's a fizzer? :psyduck:
  11. I'm talking about in lore, like in the history books in the next game. How will Bethesda decide which side won in lore? Whichever side they pick, they'll annoy a lot of people. Maybe they'll annihilate each other and a new kind of government will be established... or be set so far in the future that the details are sketchy ...or be overshadowed by tales of the Dragonborn and Alduin... :psyduck:
  12. I was going to skip the giant wall of text but then I saw people saying you have issues so... *Reading* :armscrossed:  You have issues, bro... Don't ever change though.
  13. I only recently found out about this game... Totally gonna check it out later... Anyway, I always find it slightly irritating when people jump straight to "you stole X from Y!" despite the fact that, if you stop to think about it, there's nothing revolutionary about the idea to begin with. It's basically common sense... Nothing new here. I dare say almost every RPG has this, Dude, it's a map. Maps are like that. As for fast travel, it doesn't take a genius to think of something so mundane and Bethesda wasn't the first to think of it. Quest journal? Nothing new there either. Should they change those names to something 'round about just so they don't get compared to Skyrim? "Hmm, I want to call it blacksmithing but Skyrim uses that... so... I'll call it Metallic-Goods-Forging!" I'd go on but honestly, I'm tired... and my post looks pretty rude. My apologies, I'll word it better next time. :whistling:
  14. I would welcome our new flying lizard overlords with open arms.
  15. Done! ... Don't know why but whenever I finish a survey I always feel like I picked the wrong choices... well, whatever.
  16. Dead thralls are a lot more convenient: they can be resurrected, carry unlimited burden, scale with you always, don't use crappy weapons instead of good ones, don't have annoying conversations and only moan from time to time, and finally much more powerful. But they have the personality of a corpse, unlike the other followe-... Actually, never mind. They're just plain better.
  17. Role-play value, I suppose. His character (and he himself) wouldn't willingly become a werewolf because... well, he doesn't like them. It's like being offered the ability to turn into a papaya... on one hand, it's not like you're forced to turn into a papaya and it'd be handy for... uh... hiding from people? Er, anyway, even though you may not use the ability you're still some weird half-human half-papaya person. ... Is that a bad example? :psyduck:
  18. Probably as much fun as it was at the beginning of the game, as long as you get to keep your head.
  19. What is this I don't even...
  20. That's so deep. :armscrossed:
  21. I thought he went to Helgen to save Ulfric, thus continuing the Stormcloack vs. Empire war. Alduin wants the war to continue so that he can chomp down on souls back in Sovengarde... or something... maybe... :psyduck: Or I'm completely wrong.
  22. Robes pfft, you don't know discomfort until you wear Daedric armor, i got a Daedric heart riding up my crack. Nothing chafes like Nightingale Armor, man. Especially when you're sneaking around... Er, back on topic. I really don't mind not being given Psiijic robes, it's not like we're on good terms... they just decided to help out a bit and then steal the giant ball of awesome from me. ... On the other hand, I want the Greybeard's robes! Surely they could spare some threads for the Dovahkiin.
