  1. You ever get a chance to look at that message I sent you?
  2. Ive played morrowind up to skyrim, but it honestly depends on the player. Like the moderator said on the first or second page, any mod is welcome lore friendly or not.(shortened version). However, concerning the workshop some people dont actually like to use the workshop (for various reasons) anything new yet?

  7. Ok if you give the jarls guards guns (well the closes ones next to them) you might want to design musket pistols for them (considering load time and aiming) or add a bayonet to the end of the rifles so as to use them as a spear and such
  8. @Alusinic; If it comes to that, then I would provide the outfits as well. But we will most likely introduce them as innovative weapons only nobles and merchants would carry, as well as the occasional sellsword who killed to get it. It would take a few decades [if not centuries] before they would be common and abundant enough as to be issued to normal city guards. Ah ok, well if you go by the idea you have though (this is just my opinion) would you arm the imperial troops (well at least a little of them) since it would be more that they(the nobles) would need a heavy financier to back the development of the weapons since a noble alone could possibly go bankrupt on just one so they asked the empire to help pay for it which allowed the empire to access the design to equip their troops. Or if i got the idea mixed up... The empire is making the weapons for their nobles and troops and the skyrim nobles wanting some purchased them from the empire. which the empire could send a battalion or two to skyrim to help the normal troops out.
  9. You'll have to get permission from the creators but i was thinking if you did add gun troops to the cities and empire, id look around so far these caught my eye on what you could have the troops look like (the armor style anyway) Iron armor by defunkt and Scout armor by DoODABoOM and finally one i havent looked for yet but came up as an idea while i was figuring armor wise is a modified dawnguard armor since in a way if worked correctly in real life you could probably survive being hit with a round by wearing that.
  10. It doesnt exactly have to be lore safe as long as someone will play it(just stating what the mod said earlier) so maybe when making this mod make it possibly with two seperate downloads one with an older style gun that could be lore safe and another download that would contain the muskets and such so that way itll appeal to both sides of lore players and those that break from lore
  11. Dont forget you two that (if you played the morrowind and oblivion) there have been comments from people who despise anything magic related by them making simple comments here and there. So in essence we could say that someone (who didnt like magic) came up with the idea to make something anyone could use to counter the magic user. Followed by the empire catching on thinking that if they cant get any battle mages out to the field where they need them the could do with muskets in order to help hold til a battlemage got there. As for an idea(and a bit lore friendly) the said person who made the musket could have been looking at history books of the first era and how redguards played a role and their cannons. figuring a smaller tube that could be carried would be more easier then having a large cannon to be tugged around
  12. And um >.>;; i was going to add my idea of a side quest with my last post a while back but got pulled out to work on a tractor wheel. Well the side quest in general is this: The Empire is supplying the loyal skyrim holds with new guns in order to shore up the defenses for those places, now places that are siding with the stormcloaks are using older less efficient guns(muskets or whatever you decide to call it) and when they hear of this, they want to raid a shipment to steal the plans (and a few working models) so in order to make their own (however until the side quest is finished both sides are using the older modeled muskets). So if your working with the stormcloaks a courier arrives with a message from Ulfric or one of his generals<insert name here> and wants you to lead a small party and raid a (caravan or imperial armory) and get the stuff. when you accomplish this your reward with a gun of the new models(which will have i guess better stats then the normal ones) However, if your siding with the Imperials you receive a letter from a courier from an imperial general<insert name here> that his spies have learned of a possible stormcloak raid on one of the empires armory depots (or caravans) so your ordered to go around to the various depots (or caravans) to look for any suspicious activities and guard against the attacks. the reward at the end would be the same gun with the better stats. Edited to fix some spelling errors i noticed
  13. I believe the redguards are currently in a cease-fire with the thalmor, after they left the empire they continued to fight the thalmor for 5 years before the thalmor pulled their forces out and signed The Second Treaty of Stros M'kai Hammerfell link
  14. hmmm il pm you, if were building a team it would be good to speak a little less public ok hands up, i didnt have to say this, i just wanted to get to 50 posts haha if you dont mind me adding something of a small idea, maybe also make some town guards and some imperial soldiers to walk around and use the weapons as well (that way it wouldnt be a little lop sided with your character being the only one with it) that was one of the thoughts ah ok >.>;; well how about a side quest? well one for if you do have it for the guards and imperails, this would be for like if you havent finished the civil war quest line
