  1. i'm now stuck with a quest locked location for shalidor's insights and cannot get a different quest target, no matter what I try. as far as I can tell in my game only the thieve's guild radiant quests are working as intended. I'd really appreciate any help, I don't know how to export my load order but am using loot.
  2. I'm experiencing a problem with radiant quests, It's been my understanding that if you take a radiant quests, let's say "shalidor's insights," you must find book in dungeon #12. If you then reload a save before taking that quest and take that quest again then you must find the book in dungeon #39. on my current playthrough, this isn't the case. basically all of the radiant quests I've tested in my game don't seem to change destination no matter what I do, reloading, leaving for 30 days, enable/disable/resurrect quest givers. If anyone has run into this before or may know a way to fix it please let me know :) I'm not running any mods that change the quests, quests system or quest givers. I have all the dlc.
  3. I have a problem whenever I cast any spell some blueish white smoke white rises up in front of my character (see picture). I have tried the cureall batch file that someone made to remove shaders and unwanted spell effects but it doesn't work for me. A quick sex change will make it stop but upon loading a saved game the problem is back. I have some mods installed, revenge of the enemies, climates of tamriel, Ineed, frostfall, cloaks. a vampire mod and a few craftables, additionally I use the Loot program to sort the order. the bug seemed to appear somewhere during the college quest line , if anyone knows what this effect is or how i can stop it I'd be really grateful. thanks.
  4. i have NEVER done the MQ before dawnguard. providing you havent modded your game in some crazy way you'll be fine. EDIT: didnt realize the necro, The Ideal Masters are on my case!
  5. I'd love to see this too! everytime I see the glass war-axe mesh from skyrim it reminds me of the dwarven battleaxe from morrowind.
  6. http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/21809 ^ Is for "impatience" :)
  7. hey all, sorry if this has been asked before did a search and look back over a few pages but can't find anything so here goes: adding the liquors, alchemicals, crafting mats and gear from dragonborn into windhelm's grey quarter seems lore friendly enough, so for instance the corner-club would serve flin ect and sell ash grown produce. The Dunmer stall owner could have some crafting materials. The used wares fellow could have the occastional piece of armor or weapon from solstheim? perhaps even adding the ingredients to solitude and windhems alchemist's vendors inventories? I started looking at how to alter npc merchants stock myself and eventually edited my editor ini files to allow multiple loads in an attempt to mod this myself but my ck get a zillion errors then a crash. cheers for reading, eat peas and prosper.
  8. I'd love to see this too, I think it would involve altering npc routines and disabling landmarks until certain quests are activated. I'd love to start on Solstheim with Random Alternate Start or even just go explore on my own terms with a character.
  9. http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/11617 not sure if you've seen this floating around, I dont use it myself as I dont use alchemy that much.
  10. for the love of god man! ps. you know you have a playtester here!
  11. no experience really, everytime i load up the CK i get afraid i'm going to break my game. even when following a tutorial to the letter. However, I am reading one right now that looks quite promising but i have a terrible brain, its much smarter than I am and its always trying to mess me about. I'll continue through!
  12. personally i'm one of those folks who plays one character until I get bored of them and then try another build, what I'm wondering is how tough it would be to export your completed characters appearance, skills and equipment to an an npc in the game world that could hunt you/show up as a encounter/be a follower/be marriageable as you play your next (new) character. I've seen mods that create a lookalike of your current pc in the iron set but i'm hoping someone will see this and perhaps see something in it, or have some feedback on if this is even possible. more personal/flexible/exciting than a random goon in ebony!
  13. pretty pl0x with pineapple and mango onatop, g-g-gotta have this mod!
  14. soul trap necromancers to make turn undead weapons
