Have they come out with any statement or response about the UI or their plans to address feedback? It'd be nice to at least hear some sort of acknowledgement of the negative community response.

Who decided this was a good idea? Taking away the option to use the old UI is poor form. It looks bad, doesn't provide as much info, like number of new daily and weekly mods, and feels clunky to navigate.
