    I just had some questions regarding installing blachnick90s thug armor retexture. Is Breeze required even if i plan to only use a female character? I also cant figure out for the life of me where to put the textures/meshes for blachnicks retext. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    I just wanted to get people's thoughts and opinions on incest between siblings. Do you think it's Ok? Is it morally wrong? Share your opinion and justify it, no," Its disgusting just because" nonsense. Sharing stories or experiences is fine, but make sure you give enough context so it's not overly vague. WARNING: Remember this is a debate and NOT a place to find fapping material or ask for pictures. Also this is only discussing the topic of incest between siblings, and not between other family members. Finally this is a sensitive topic, so use a little common sense and don't start flames wars with someone just because they disagree with you or have a different opinion. Now my opinion, but first a little background. I am 15, male, catholic, and have never had, nor ever intend to have incest. I believe it is ok as long as it is not being forced (ie rape), both individuals are 14 or older, both are within about 5 years of age, and safe sex is a practiced.

    2. You should base New Reno on the NCR ending of Fallout 2

     

    1. Yes may as well be like in the other mod where people are doing Mars, however those rockets seemed to me to be just for show and not actually be able to fly to space. Those thrust control modules would've probably be only to prevent the rocket to crash on someplace where people live. As gas price went into millions, I don't know how much gas they could have store away to launch three rockets into space! That's a lot.

     

    2. I want New Reno to be under control of the gangs and mafia, just like old times. NCR wouldn't join New Reno because of Van Graffs and Wrights holding it. They need eachother to do this, putting aside their differences, but not meaning a full alliance.

     

    Bishops were "exiled" so NCR definitely wouldn't be part of New Reno until Bishops get back in power. Didn't think of that until now, that could be one reason why they want to get back... hmm.

    Just something I'd like to add: Rockets don't use gas or petroleum as fuel, instead they use liquid oxygen, alcohol, or hydrogen as fuel, so the scaresity of gas would not affect them.

    I would love to see something like that. It would be fairly easy seeing as their is a plethora of media about 1950s moon bases and stuff related to space. I can't help seeing as the only 3D Modeling I know doesn't work well with video games and I am currently behind on writing my fan fiction, but I can make something like this the focus of the next chapter of the fan fiction I refered to. It would also help with expanding some of the lore and generating intrest in the idea.

    The mod is on hold at the moment whilst I finish some major edits with the original AWOP (nearly finished) but if you would like a preview of what I have done so far so you can check out the locations first hand I can post you an external link.

    There's a big Sewer/Metro system planned. It will have Ghost and non-Ghost enemies down there as well as another survivor who lives there and can be met and bartered with.

    One section of the metro is complete already but it is cut off from the main network of tunnels which will not be accessible in the early stages of the game.

    Thanks for the offer a preview would really help me out. I also had suggestion, could you add a 1950s style police uniform and hat to the Police Station and scattered around with the dead bodies of officers. I know police hats are present in NV and I think there are several mods that add police uniforms so that shouldn't be to hard. I was also wondering if you could add some hunting shotguns to the police station. I asked because I though it was kinda stupid that the Serria madres police would be using riot armor for regular uniforms and pistols and light machine guns for weapons.     A World Of Pain for Dead Money

    I have been planning an AWOP patch for Honest Hearts too. It'll be very different to the Dead Money patch.

    The Dead Money patch is designed to compliment the original DLC. In Honest Heart's case I'll be tearing up the landscape placing giant Rumble Zones everywhere built by a sociopathic scientist who hates everyone. It'll have very big under-cluttered areas full of assorted monsters which should contrast nicely with The DM Patch with it's detailed Urban interiors, sparse loot and lack of enemy variety.

    I also just played and finished OWB for the first time so I may even go as far as that (not that it needs it though).

    Hey again, I've recently been working on a piece of fan fiction for Dead Money, and was wondering if I could use some of your locations in it? I would give you credit for the mod (I.e. The locations 1, 2, and 3 were based on locations from AWOP Dead Money By djmystro).

    Question about importing weapon animations from other games

    Hey guys! All i was wondering if it was possible, and if so how easy, to import animations from other games and use them in fallout. For example use the M1911Al pistol reload animation from Battlefield Bad Company 2 to replace the default one used by A Light Shining in Darkness, the .45 Auto Pistol, The 9mm Pistol, Marina, the silenced .22 pistol, and several others.

    Fallout: New Vegas Fan Fiction

    Hi Guys. This is the first fan fiction I have written, and i would really like to get some feedback to improve my writing. My characters adventures will include locations from FNV and some of the DLCs, Operation Anchorage, The cancelled Fallout 3, Fallout 1, Fallout 2, and some entirely made up locations. I am starting out with the story of Jack Ryan, the 23 year old daughter of a Boomer and ex-Enclave soldier. After hearing the haunting sound of the Serria Madra Emergency Radio Broadcast, she resolved to find out where it was coming from and why. She jury-rigged a Pre-war radar set at Nellis as a direction finder but found that it's range was much to limited to be of any use. She then snuck into Black Mountain to use the sat-com array their. Finding that the source was nowhere near any trade or caravan routs, she hitched a ride on a Enclave Vertabird that was delivering supplies to Navarros fall back outpost. It dropped her off near the Villas entrance where our story

    begins.

    I was finally here, the Serria Madre Casino, in all its glory and splendor. As I walked toward the main gate started chocking on the blood red cloud that seemed to be spewing from the casino. Within a minute I was out, and awoke laying in front of the fountain in the Villas center. The hologram of a women was displayed on top of the fountain, and surrounding me, reaching up into the sky, were decaying resort apartments, in sort of a Spanish or Mexican style. In several places the buildings parted to show streets leading off into the gloom, and far away I heard the sounds of creatures moving. It was only after taking in my intimidating surrounding that I started to feel cold and realized I was naked and all my equipment was gone. Alarmed by the notion that my skin would soon be corroded by the Cloud, I began to look for something to wear. I noticed a pile of clothing and equipment that I realized was mine; but, with several additions. A respirator had been inside my 1st Recon Beret, and instead of the custom .45 Auto pistol Joshua Gram had given me, their was a small .357 Revolver loaded with Hollow- Points. I had found similar ones while digging through New Vegas's main police station and this one looked like it was also intended for police use. When I checked my sachel, I found my Frag grenades missing but everything else untouched, along with a 20 round box of .357 hollow points and two speed loaders. Inside the box I found a battered old map with a note scrawled on the back. The note said," Get to the Police Station and check the terminal for further information". I flipped over the map and spotted a building with the words," Police Station" circled, I estimated that it would take me between 20-30min to walk their. I shivered at the thought of having only 26 .357 rounds, but pushed the thought out of my mind and proceeded to get dressed. I slipped into my OD Green BDU pants and pulled my white tanktop over my head. I laced up my boots and zipped up Ballistic Vest while buckling my shoulder holster over my vest. To complete my uniform I put on my 1st Recon Beret, placed my ancient aviator glasses on the bridge of my nose, and threw my sachel over my shoulder and started to walk.

     As I walked out from under an archway, I heard the sound of wind whistling above me. I looked upward  for the source of the noise and saw two glowing green orbs staring back at me through the blood red haze. Within an instant they were gone, and I wondered if I had even seen anything at all. Quietly I slipped my revolver out from it's holster and started scanning the roof tops for movement, slowly circling with trite deliberate footsteps. I was so focused on the noise that I didn't notice the figure behind me pull out a rag and stuff it over my mouth then the whole world went black.

     

    When I finally opened my eyes I found myself in a small, dimly lit room. Like the rest of the Serria Madra, the walls were composed of brick or tile the color of dried blood. Their was a table in the corner of the room, on which sat a small lantern which illuminated the room. The rooms only entrance was barricaded, instead a tunnel had been dug. Under the table sat a large backpack with a hunting rifle leaning up next to it.  I looked down to see i was sleeping on bedroll that thankfully covered my naked body. It was only after taking in my surroundings did I notice the shadow of a man standing in a dark spot in the rooms corner. As he walked into the light I finally saw my attacker. He was wearing some sort of hooded gas mask and some type of orange riot armor. I recognised it as identical, in everything execpt color, to security armor I had found in the irradiated hellhole know as Vault 34. When I saw he was aiming the hunting rifle at me, I froze, knowing i couldn't doge a bullet from the position i was in. In a muffled voice he said," Your awake good. Now don't make any sudden moves, don't stand up, and stay where you are". Then he turned around and walked to the corner of the room where.  Once he was gone i  heaved a sigh of relief, knowing the next question would probably be who I was and why the hell i was here, not a bullet to the brain. He returned with my clothes, threw them to me, pulled up a chair, and started to take off his mask.

    Looks great! Any chance you could make the Cantina Madrid Restruant in the casino? For some reason is wasen't included in the final DLC, just replace with a static entrance door. If you need a place to start the " Serria Madre on the Strip" mod has a cantina Madrid.

    This looks incredible cant wait to see the finished product:D maybe you could add some hard secretive thing to get;D

     

    Thanks Raveskye. But you can help to improve it. We do have a lot of secret items. They are primarily weapons, but we also have some companions and other stuff like a bobble head, equipment, ingestibles etc. But any ideas you have post them and we'll see about including them.

     

    I'm trying to think of a useful function for a Raven companion. A raven seems very Mojave-ish in character to me and it seems like an excellent stylistic addition to have on your shoulder for the Mojave wastelander.

    The Raven could be used as a way to distract your enemies while you pump bullets into them?
