Now it crashes in less than five minutes. I tried using buffout 4 to look for the source of the crashes but there are no crash logs.

My troubles began when I noticed that the crashing started occurring after an extended period without any issues. I had just discovered DC and had already been put on the trail for Valentine when my Pc would act as though it were running Doom Eternal with Ultra settings and would then crash. Vexed, I turned down my settings to med only to experience the same outcome after 5 min of gaming. In my years of playing Fallout 4 I have never experienced this issue before and was hoping that anyone would be able to help me with this aggravating issue.

My current playthrough with fallout 3 has ran into a bit of a roadblock. It appears that Bigsly and his scribes are missing their dialogue paths, whenever I try and interact with them the scribes will only answer with " What do you need?" and Bigsly won't have any dialogue whatsoever. I have tried taking down a few of my mods but the problem appears to be the dlc itself. Any help?

I have been away from FNV for a few days but now the 4gb doesn't work and all I am getting is "Cannot find the file specified in dir". I am not using SweetFX, ENB, or FXAA with my game, and the 4gb launcher is in the installation folder. I have already used NVSE and have already a plethora of mods on my computer. The only thing that I have heard that might solve the problem is if I put in a command line after the target location for the 4gb shortcut, though I have little to no experience with implementing it. If there is anyone who has knowledge on how to fix this bug, that would be great.

More to the point is that when I tried to reinstall Stutter Remover the game crashed on start up. Is there an alternative for stutter remover?

My game has been stuttering really badly since I have completed a majority of quests and have neared the endgame, and apparently this is a problem caused by the fallout stutter remover during the late game. So I uninstalled the stutter remover and now the game runs with the occasional stutter but every time I exit the game it crashes.

Yes, I have had some good news. I appears whenever I am using Fake Fullscreen the game will stop crashing, though the problem is that the top border doesn't vanish entirely and is still visible as I play. Overall the game appears to be doing fine despite the obstruction.

I have been playing Fallout 3 for over 150 hours now, and I feel all that time is being thrown back at me with the constant crashes that I'm facing. I have tried all the fixes that are commonly known except for Fallout Fake Windowed screen. Unless there is anyone who could offer some form of advice, I'm not sure I can keep playing this file much longer. BTW, this is a request for help and/or advice on how to stop the crashes. I have already gone through load order, 4GB, stutter remover, etc. These have all failed to work for me.

I have not been able to resolve my crash issue since it popped up nearly 5 months ago. The game seems to crash usually when I'm around in an area congested by enemy npcs and it slows down to as low as 5 fps when in interiors or underground surrounded by enemy npcs. Also, the game apparently hates it whenever I decide to fast travel to a location that is not secure. So the best thing that I can do for now is to reinstall the entire game, although I am reluctant with my character being at level 30 and with maxed stats and nearly all the collectibles around the wasteland in my possession.

I'm still getting the same issue with the crashing, so I'm going to remove a bunch of mods and just try the game with Fallout 3, the DLC's, UUFP (updated unofficial fallout 3 patch), FWE, MMM, Project Reality, Enhanced Tenpenny Suite, Dtoms Rivet City Apartment, Stealthsuit, V101 Revisited, GNR Enhanced, Mothership Zeta Crew, DC Interiors and Groovatron.

I don't have it in the program files but a seperate hard drive. I think that maybe the more I progress my character the more crashes I have, so maybe I need more ram?

Played it again, and it crashed in just a few minutes, and then in less than an hour. I can't take this, I'm really thinking of just uninstalling win 7 and getting an xp because my GOTY is a real piece of work.
