I'm using the latest version from Nexus for the Steam version. I have zero other mods. Vanilla launchnhas no issues. anyone else playing on a handheld having issues?

I really love the big mods that Dark Souls 3 has, such as Cinders, The Convergence etc, not to mention all the smaller mods that really improve my enjoyment of the game such as ultrawide support etc. But it's really awful to see that ER has implemented EAC, which not only tanks FPS in many other games, but also completely prevents modding. I'm wondering if it will be possible to bypass EAC's restrictions and allow modders to eventually make mods like ultrawide fixes and more complex mods.

My SSD is running out of space, I noticed that the NMM folder is 50+ GB big, and my Fallout 4 folder is also 55 GB. I have a backup for all my downloaded mods in the HDD. So I wonder if it would be possible to make NMM select that folder as the one where it gets all the mod, without affecting the current state of the game. Thanks

Hi! I really love my Skyrim but the load time is way too long. Teleporting takes about 45 seconds and entering/exiting interiors takes on avg 25 seconds. The game, as well as MO and my 130 mods, are all installed on SSD. I think the main cause is the ENB. No matter which ENB I'm using, as long as I install the ENB files, the load time triples/quadruples. Just want to know if this is normal. I know that ENB will lengthen load time, but this seems to be way too much. If that's the case, are there good replacement for ENBs to make the game look good? ( I will obviously retain ENBoost but not actually run any ENB) Thanks!

console command giving me weird texts
Simonz93 replied to Simonz93's topic in Fallout 4's Discussion
oh ok, glad i'm not the only one. But i still fear that this might be a symptoms of some underlying problems that may not manifest themselves in the short-runs, but could come back and bite you later on and ruin the whole save file. So I really want to know what's the nature of this sooner than later. -
I typed "player.additem 06030efc 4" to give myself 4 nuka-love, and the commands for the other new nuka colas (06 being the nuka world load order). But each time after typing the command, I get a huge block of texts with only 2 variants "Perk rank >>0 and perk rank >> 1". The console commands all worked and I got my colas. But I'm worried that the commands messed up something (though that hasn't been apparent). But right now I'm hesitating to continue playing this save since I'm concerned that it might be messed up, since normally adding ammo or other materials through console never showed me these weird texts. Hopefully someone can answer the above. Thank you ^^

possible to use fo4edit to change value of modded weapons?
Simonz93 replied to Simonz93's topic in Fallout 4's Discussion
1. Open SCAR-L.esp in FO4Edit. 2. Open the "Object Modification" list, and pick the magazine you want to increase the capacity for. "Medium Magazine" is the default mag; "Medium Quick Eject Mag" is self-explanatory. 3. Right click in the empty space next to "Properties" and click "Add." 4. Change the values of the newly added property to the following: Value Type: Int Function Type: Set Weapon Property: AmmoCapacity Value 1 - Int: the amount of rounds you want the magazine to hold (ie 30 if you want it to be a 30 round magazine) Leave the other two values at 0. If you did everything correctly, this should be the end result: http://i.imgur.com/jGw1AWJl.jpg Hi! Thanks again for the detailed tutorial, I just verified and it worked. When I just loaded the game the mag still displayed 20 clips, but after emptying few mags, the value changed to 30. Thanks a lot! -
possible to use fo4edit to change value of modded weapons?
Simonz93 replied to Simonz93's topic in Fallout 4's Discussion
Thanks so much! Yeah...there is no way I could have figured this out myself lol...I went into the "weapon" category under the Scar.esp and changed the "clip" number there. But nothing changed. -
possible to use fo4edit to change value of modded weapons?
Simonz93 replied to Simonz93's topic in Fallout 4's Discussion
Thanks a lot! I'm trying to increase the clip size of the newly released "Scar-H" by the Shiny Haxorus http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/18726/? I was pretty sure the "clip" was the clip size and I cross-referenced with other weapons to make sure. But changing its value didn't do it. Guess I went to the wrong place :/ -
possible to use fo4edit to change value of modded weapons?
Simonz93 replied to Simonz93's topic in Fallout 4's Discussion
Thank you, very helpful general guide, but doesn't touch on the issue I'm having unfortunately. But I will be sure to read it if I want to keep modding. I'm still unable to mod the clip size for the modded weapon. I went into the esp and edited the "capacity", but nothing changed in game :/ -
possible to use fo4edit to change value of modded weapons?
Simonz93 replied to Simonz93's topic in Fallout 4's Discussion
Ok I went into FO4edit but I'm completely overwhelmed. I have no idea whether I should be selecting all the esm or just the modded weapon's esm, and what option to choose. For example some online tutorial says to select "copy as override into", I have no clue what that does, and whether I should be even creating a new esp or just overwrite the old one... I can't find a tutorial that specifically alters modded, rather than vanilla weapons. Would appreciate someone here telling me how I should do it. -
Hi! I have no experience in modding whatsoever. I want to see some values of some modded guns changed but I don't really want to trouble modders with these specific and personal requests since they already did so much for free. So is it possible to do this myself in like fo4edit, to just increase clip size and other stats? If so is it easy to do, and most importantly, is it safe or it could potentially break the mod/game? If there is a tutorial somewhere that specifically teaches this, I would really appreciate a link :) Thanks!

Hi dear modders! I would really want to see a mod that makes HoS enchantment taking only 1 slot instead of all 3 on the weapons. I really love some enchantments such as the one that infuses the power of the last used sign on your sword. But I find all the enchantments, while cool, are pretty under-powered compared to the effects of 3 combined runes. So I'm hoping to get the cool enchantment, while also be able to add runes to the 2 slots that are left. I would really appreciate if someone can make such a mod! A thousand thanks!
