  1. Returning after some time to play with your mods (I mean to play Skyrim) and realizing that you don't know what any of them do, as when you unrar them, there is no mod name and no modder name. The only there there is some weird abbreviation of the mod which could or could not exist anymore, OR some instruction sheet that tells you the same thing all other instruction sheets would tell you with no mod or modder name included! I know you're humble, but take credit for your amazing work in a readme pls. I don't want to miss out on your mod because I don't know what it is anymore.. I guess it is my fault for not cataloguing properly, so I guess I'm asking for a favour then. Thank you for listening. Gabe
  2. but if i have a body mod, and some armor i like uses a different one, will it still work together? will it make my skyrim implode? will it just look awkward? because im ok with a little awkwardness. thanks in advance for your help/replies. Gab
  3. I find 'Deadly dragons' a necessary mod. Dragons start out deadly in the vanilla game, but they don't appear to level as fast as you do. 'Alternate Start - live another life' is a good one if you wanna be a ranger. its great for immersion and for starting game quickly. if you're planning on playing a kahjiit, i strongly suggest 'khajiitspeak'. very well written. i dont want to play without it! even other races...yeah ima freak. oh and i use 'climates of tamriel weather', it adds good sounds and good colour to game. hope it helped. enjoy your game. :)
  4. however, i would appreciate it if you kept your screenshots out of your main files for downloading as some of us pay for bandwidth. that is all. i would like to thank all of you modders for your time and skills.. i appreciate you.
  5. I agree with whoever spoke of the geography. it feels like there is much less to explore in skyrim as theres sharp mountainous regions everywhere, whereas in oblivion there aint no mountain high enough, aint no valley low enough to keep me from going there. in oblivion, it didnt feel as if the map was filled with unreachable, unusable areas that are there just to fill space. but, ive been having too many controles issues with skyrim to be able to play it without getting annoyed so i could be wrong about map size.
  6. Urbex, you should get off your high horse and quit judging people from behind your monitor. I admitted to not being knowledgable about these things, is there really a reason for you to put me, and most other posters, down? We were exchanging information as people do on forums, no need to get rude and superior. I would like to thank all of you again for all the answers. And thank you for informing me on how the game DOES NOT work without INTERNETS(yes its a Bush-ism) To those who say that gaming has been like this for years, i think youre wrong. i got oblivion when it came out, i did not need to patch it. it did not have all kinds of bugs in it - controles were great, quests worked, dragons didnt fly backwards. oblivion gates did what they were supposed to. IMO Beth released too soon (like a teenage boy) and now we all get to pay the price. Thank you as well for the tips on steam. if i didnt have to use it i wouldnt. I didnt buy skyrim from them, i dont plan on buying any other games. i dont want them to keep track of my achievements, this isnt wow. im sure someone will come up with a mod to do that for me, i dont need to be attached at the hip to some company i dont want to support. My boyfriend begged me just get the cracked version, and had i known that was the way to avoid steam, i would have listened. But Noooo I had to be righteous and say something stupid like 'well if i dont BUY it, how will they know that i want them to make more!' yes ignorant i know but it seemed like a good idea at the time. but thanks for all your time and your ranting, its good to know im not the only one in this position.
  7. thanks for that Handofbane. srs, some people should get a tutorial with their game.. :)
  8. Thank you for all your replies and opinions. On my skyrim box, nowhere does it say 'requires internet access' or anything of the sort. I understand that skyrim is a giant game but how could they just release a game with so many unplayable problems? My mouse actions were terrible before they patched it. They're still not the best and im hoping for a better fix. I wonder how people with no internets get this done. Its terribly unfair of them to have done this to people for the sake of cash. Might as well go make a panda character in WoW right?
  9. So is steam necessary for me to play skyrim? I dont know nothing about computers. My boyfriend sets the game up for me and i just play it. So I was wondering if i have to go through steam to access skyrim and why they would do it that way. I mean, you goto steam homepage and it looks like a damn department store. oh wait, it is. i already bought the game. i just want info now. wheres their mod page they spoke of. am i really that blind that it took me 20mins of looking through the page and still ive found nothing? THank whichever gods for the nexus because i think i would give up on beth if it wasnt for you guys. thank you so much for your constant help and support and humanity. but back to my question - is steam necessary and why. (sorry for my frustration - oblivion seemed easier)
  10. If someone is making female...or male bodies, it would be nice to see some bum dimples. Nothing too sporty, just some nice suble indents. I think its so sexy and it would add depth, texture, and realism to the otherwise plain ol' flat character backs.... Just a thought. thank you for your time in advance.
  11. Hello, this might be a noob question and im sorry if it is. I enjoy my game immersive and was wondering if theres a way to slow down gametime like one did in oblivion so its closer to realtime flow rather than 1s=1m (approx). i dont know if a mod is needed or if perhaps i can make an adjustment in some ini file or something? any answers would be appreciated because im getting older, time flies faster, i dont need to feel like time is slipping me by in game as well as in real life :P thank you for your time in advance.
