The basic design of dialogue in games until now is based on limited and scripted options. Since there are lot of open source language model now, how far are we from introduce one into the game?
One possible design may act like this:
1. Create coordinate systems to present NPCs' character and motions during conversation.
2. A mod to make player input words and sentences while have conversation.
3. A mod to communicate between game and the LM
We may just finally get rid of the old option and script based dialogue system.
What's your ideas on it?
