  1. Yes, it's not that hard. Go to the broadsider projectile, disable the explosion and enable the option that lets you pick up projectiles. There may be other steps, but you can figure it out. Cool, sounds pretty simple! Forgive me, other than a few textures and things over the years I'm not much of a modder. Will simply enabling the option to pick up projectiles make them behave as an object? As in bounce off the target after impact?
  2. Does anyone have an idea of a good place to start on this one? I would like to make the Broadsider cannonballs act much like The Striker's projectiles; as in, bounce off enemies, be retrievable, and not explode. Any chance this can be done by a bit of work in the creation kit? Many thanks,
  3. That's not bad at all! I think that will work nicely, thanks!
  4. I'd like to give something back to the modding community too. I'm age 26, male, half southern (London) - half midlands UK accent, with a relatively gravelly voice thanks to a decade of smoking. I have no formal training but am willing to help where possible, PM me for a contact e-mail.
  5. Looks OK, I was after a cleaner, reflective look. I think the answer here is for me to do something myself  .
  6. For sure, a re-texture of some sort would be great. Though I have messed around with one or two textures before and am technically capable of doing so, I am utterly inartistic and possess absolutely no design skills in order consider how to start making something reflective like this. From memory aren't there two textures for most things? The base texture and a secondary transparency that deals with the reflections?
  7. Evening guys, I've been doing a little searching but have so far come up empty handed. I'm after a metallic looking armour set that is of a believable weight (as in not power armour), something along the lines of combat armour would be good; I've been using the 'Bare Metal Enclave Power Armour' mod (here http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/41084/?) which is really well done but just looks too heavy for what I'm after. Any ideas? Thanks in advance, Chase.
  8. Ah OK, yeah I'll check that out then, thanks.
  9. Erh, excuse me? I have no idea who/what Sheson is.
  10. OK, first things first, because i clicked cancel the first time I used "load masters" now when I try to click load masters nothing happens  . I was never using Wyre until yesterday when Piper helped me out, we then installed Wyre and TESVedit to do some diagnosis, so no, I did none of my previous installs through Wyre. I have 3 ReProccer entities, (ReProccer.esp. ReProccerNONPLAYERfix.esp, and ReProccerDragonborn.esp), 'Diff Masters' only selects the ReProccer.esp and the game still doesn't load after that. Bashed patch is also unticked by default when I do 'Diff Masters' and I have tried with both bashed patch on and off and the game doesn't load regardless. Though yes, Piper told me to try he Bashed patch yesterday - I hadn't used it before. When I rebuilt the patch it gave me a "continue despite errors" warning - I continued anyway but it doesn't seem to have helped. There's no missing content message, it all checks out. And the card is 2 or 3Gb - i can't remember, I did used to run Skyrim on a 4890 video card though which only had 1Gb of RAM and it was always fine. -------------------------------------------------- EDIT: Just tried a few old autosaves, and one of them actually loaded (although it seemed a bit unstable) - I've lost an hour and a half of progress but I'm more than happy to re-do that as long as I can play again  . So consider this topic 'fixed' for all intents and purposes. Again, thanks to everyone who threw some potential fixes my way - I've come to expect nothing less of the helpful people on this forum!
  11. No problem, thanks for all your help Piper!
  12. Hey Camero, Well a lot of my saves are red - but they're from old characters that probably would have used different mods that have since been deleted; the character's saves I was trying to load were all orange! I started a new game and the game launched, so hopefully this data can be of some use to you  . My system specs are ample for running Skyrim but I'll drop a few specs if they can be of some use to you and just ask if you need any more information; 4GB memory at 2133mhz Phenom II 955 at 4Ghz Two Sandisk SSD's in RAID-0 ATI 7950 video card When selecting 'DIFF Masters' on my quicksave I am trying to load I get the following list... "Removed Masters (quicksave.ess):• ReProccer.esp Added Masters (Active Masters):• DragonbornArmorFix.esp • SkyRe_CraftingFix.esp • Bashed Patch, 0.esp" Similarly, if I go to "Load Masters" I get the following message; "Do you want to enable Installers? If you do, Bash will first need to initialize some data. This can take on the order of five minutes if there are many mods installed. If not, you can eneable it at any time by right-clicking the colomn header menu and selecting 'enabled'. So, do I accept that and hit yes? Thanks for you help by the way!
  13. I gave that link a try, didn't help anything I'm afraid! I have two SSD's in RAID-0 and I did leave it loading for a good 5 minutes initially. For curiosities sake I allowed it to load for around 10/15 minutes just now and eventually I got a crash to desktop.
  14. There was no option to, so I ran all my Java executables as Admin and then opened the SUM.jar/Reproccer.jar - they all worked fine after that. My game, however, isn't still. ------------------------------------------- Edit to avoid a double post; Thanks to Piperman giving me a bunch of help. I can now confirm that Wyre Bash checks out my .esps as fine, all my mods load without fault in TESVedit, I have made a bashed patch and am STILL getting crashes before the game loads a save. The game starts absolutely fine. I click on continue to load my save game and the loading screen appears (the one with in game music, a smoky background, a sentence or two of some lore and an NPC or object in view), this loading screen continues indefinitely and the only way to exit Skyrim is via task manager and ending the processes manually. I appreciate all the help I've got (not the first time this forums has dug me out of the proverbial) but I've still not got a solution to this one  - anyone else got any potential solutions for me?
  15. I'll go grab Wyre Bash now, thanks so much for your help here, it really is appreciated.
  16. Yes I think so! I launch BOSS GUI and select run BOSS, it then gives me a local host page in my browser stating it recognises all the plugins and has no errors or warnings.
  17. When running SUM go into sum settings turn (RUN BOSS off) (untick it ) then select all reproccers you have then click the button force all patches or what ever it is called, then run it... also fix your load order before running it. Make bashed patch first then run the reproccers. Also IF you do use BOSS make sure you edit the load order manually as BOSS leaves any unrecognized plugins at the bottom of your load order. OK, bare with me here, as you probably realised by now I'm a total noob with this! I entered SUM, turned off RUN BOSS, but where are these ReProccers I can select? Also, in my plugins list on Nexus Mod Manager I have no bashed patch on the list?
  18. No crash to desktop, when I go to load a game it hangs on the loading screen where you have an object or NPC in view, the only way to quit Skyrim is through the task manager where it is labeled as not responding. I'm using either the nexus Mod Manager or I'm booting through the SKSE_loader in my Skyrim root directory - either method yields the same crash.
  19. No, it's still crashing! I ran a patch through ReProccer and when that failed I tried running the SUM.jar to perform a patch, neither are allowing the game to run. Anyone know what I should check for next?
  20. Thanks for the reply Piper, By default I always have Windows UAC controls switched off. That being said, I'm not exactly sure how I'd even run a .jar extension at administrator level? EDIT: just ran the java.exe as admin and now the reproccer.jar boots just fine! Thanks for your help!
  21. Thanks Ball, I hope you're ready for a few noob questions that will probably make you want to face palm... 1) How can I launch the ReProccer from Steam? (I can't see it listed in tools). 2) I didn't think a texture would need patching either, but on the discussion page of the mod (here; http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/41786/?tab=4&&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Fskyrim%2Fajax%2Fcomments%2F%3Fmod_id%3D41786%26page%3D2%26sort%3DDESC%26pid%3D0%26thread_id%3D1103502&pUp=1) someone mentins they will use ReProccer to gain compatibility with SkyRe? Sorry not steam I meant to say SUM.jar... sorry OK, I installed 'Skyproc Unified Manager' - which is what i assume you meant by SUM and run the SUM.jar extension. Again, i get the command window open and immediately close, it's not followed by any GUI at all. EDIT: For the record I am opening the .jar extensions with 'Java Platform SE binary', it's not trying to open with 7Zip or something.
  22. Thanks Ball, I hope you're ready for a few noob questions that will probably make you want to face palm... 1) How can I launch the ReProccer from Steam? 23. Evening all, A while ago I wished to use ReProccer to make a re-texture of the Deathbrand armour compatible with SkyRe. I spent many hours attempting to get ReProccer to work and gave up after no success, today I thought I'd give it another go but am quickly stumped (again). After installing ReProccer - either manually or through NMM, I go to launch the ReProccer.jar extension, receive a command window which immediately closes and doesn't open the GUI. I installed BOSS but this hasn't helped at all; but I presume it is the problem because I can launch the 'Debug-noBOSS' batch file and get to the ReProccer GUI from there. Being as the no BOSS version works I run the patch from there and launch 'Balbor and Steelsouls SkyRe Reproccer Project' from the NMM and patch ReProccer again. EVERY time (from three fresh installs of the game/mods/everything) after doing this though, I boot Skyrim and the game crashes when trying to continue from a saved game. I really don't want to have to go through a complete reinstall of everything again and this is really starting to get me confused. I'd like to think I'm missing something fairly simple to get everything working - but I have no idea where to look for faults anymore! Any help massively appreciated! Thanks in advance, Chase. --------------------------------------------------------- Edit for current solutions tried; Thanks to Piperman giving me a bunch of help. I can now confirm that Wyre Bash checks out my .esps as fine, all my mods load without fault in TESVedit, I have made a bashed patch and am STILL getting crashes before the game loads a save. 24. I did, I changed it, and now it works! Thanks so much DaemonGrin, really appreciate the support I've had off everyone on this topic.
  25. Still having no luck at all, I really hate to persist for an answer here but I'm really bored of staring at GECK now - and my PC is starting to form a dent where I've been kicking it in frustration =[
