  1. Sorry for the triple post, but I managed to solve it thanks to someone at the Bethesda.net forums. Here's a link to the thread: https://bethesda.net/community/topic/204535/custom-hair-colour-issues
  2. So, I tried looking at that LUT thing vanilla and modded hair colours seem to use, but once again, I didn't find a single tutorial.
  3. Hello, everyone! I want to add a custom hair colour to the game. More precisely, #D29083 (a friend of mine requested it). I've created a ColorForm, which I set to RGB(210, 144, 131). I then added it to the HumanRace record, in both the female and male hair categories (because my friend didn't specify). However, the hair colour doesn't appear in LooksMenu, even though it's flagged as playable. I have no way to know if I did something wrong, as the only tutorials I found are for Skyrim. Thanks in advance for your reply/replies.
  4. Sorry for the necro, but this doesn't work for me. I use MO2, so that might be the culprit...
  5. This is something I'd like to do too. For the record, I made a standalone follower mod for a friend of mine, and I'd like to create a load screen showing off the character, similar to the load screens ErianDragonborn mentioned. However, I'd like to do that using NifSkope as much as possible. EDIT: I managed to, well, do "something" (assembling the different meshes in NifSkope), but when I imported the resulting mesh, the face texture was invisible.
  6. You might have skipped the part where you need to use NifMerge to set the vertices from the CK's FaceGen mesh to the values from RaceMenu's FaceGen mesh.
  7. Thanks for your answer, Masterofnet. However, I have a question. Do I need to call GetFactionRank on the BaseID or the RefID ? Lastly, I'm still a novice when it comes to the CK, so I don't know what aliases truly are, or how they work. EDIT: Solved. I called GetFactionRank on the RefID, and check if it was equal to -1 (which means "RefID is not in faction"). No need to work with aliases at all.
  8. Hello everyone. A friend of mine loved my current main character, and I decided to make a custom, standalone follower that would be a clone of that character. I would like to add a small load screen with the following conditions: player is in Whiterun (for example) AND follower is in The Drunken Huntsman (again, for example) AND follower is NOT recruited (the follower must be dismissed, telling them to wait doesn't count). The load screen has a (theoretical) 5% chance of happening. Note: I wrote the logic operators in all caps, to make them stand out. While I can check the first two conditions, I don't know how to check the third one. I tried to find what I seek on this page, without success. Is there a way to do it ? Thanks in advance for your answer(s). EDIT: Solved. See post #3.
  9. There are alternative starts mods that allow you to do just that. You need to escape from Helgen if you don't want to/can't install mods.
  10. Hello everyone. Today, my game started to crash on save. I didn't try quicksaving yet, but if saves from the menu/console or autosaves make the game crash, then I doubt quicksaves would work. Context: Yesterday, I saved in the Alftand Animonculory, while on the main quest to recover the kel (save number 127, 13 746 kB). Before playing (and by extension, saving), I installed two follower mods. This morning, I resumed that save, went to curbstomp Alduin for the first time (with the help of three followers, including the two I installed and recruited yesterday). Deciding to take a break from the main quest, I went to Solitude, and started the quest "The Wolf Queen Returns". I entered the Blue Palace to complete it, and my game crashed when I tried to save manually or the auto save system kicked in. I tried this "trick", without success (I can't save even after loading old saves). I also tried re-generating FNIS behavior files, as well as the Dual Sheath Redux patch. Since that file is more the same size as my other saves (~11 MB), I think it crashes when it tries to create the .skse part of the save. EDIT 2: Tried running skse_loader.exe as admin. Nothing changed.
