Hey there, so idk if something like this is already a thing but, i think it would be really cool if when you died you are separated from your body, and must navigate the spirit realm to find something to resurrect yourself? I'm trying to make my game more challenging, but prefer not to use straight permadeath, cus it would be unfortunate for a player to be punished for stepping on a bucket wrong or something. If nothing like this exists i'l probably look into something like alternate deaths or w.e, but i would highly prefer something like what i mentioned. something like this? thankyou for reading

LE Mod to play as a follower?

Doesn't make much sense... but did you want a quest that has you temporarily take control of another NPC, much like how it functions in this quest? http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Waking_Nightmare Okay right. Ideally something like an npc that has their own agenda, and will explore, and dungeon crawl, choosing where to go and what to do themselves as you accompany them. It would be great if things are comparable with ineed, and frost or something so that npc would also have to seek out food,drink,sleep, and warmth. It's cool if that's not a thing tho, just interested in taking a look at what kind of resources i could use to make things revolve a little less around you, and more the other characters in the game. I have already got interesting npcs, that's lovely. Also been looking at some other stuff that hopefully will add depth to the npcs, but would like them to be a bit more involved, and focused on. I also was taking a look at those king of skyrim mods hoping they could be accessed by npcs rather than just the player, but was sad to see this did not appear to be the case =-/ btw thankyou for everyone's input so far <3 -
idk if that makes sense. I'm sure there's already tons of stuff like this, i just am not searching for it correctly. Is there a mod that you have some sort of companion or something, but instead of them following you around on your quests, you follow them instead, and they just lead the way? Maybe having npcs face, and interact mostly with mentioned companion instead of you? or at the very least a means of prioritizing a npcs goals over the mc for more than a quest or two? If not, then anything in this sorta area? I'm looking to take a bit of importance away from the mc in this game, so any ideas would be appreciated.

Your player and other npcs visually getting older as time goes on in skyrim? I know this was worked on for a bit a long while back, but this could help bring real value to game saves, and add a really chaotic element to the game if used in conjunction with other ideas. While it's been a long lived pipedream for every npc in skyrim to have an aging system it's just such a huge project to tackle with all the variables at play here. I think focusing first on the bulk of npcs that are not involved in quests, and the ones involved directly in your possible continuation (like someone super close, a wife, or child). The 3 directions that could be taken in this new sort of set up. 1.You die due to disease, fatal wounds, or anything else that would become more threatening with age, and then you come back as your child or loved one, your rebirth in a sense has granted you a slight overall improvement to your potential. Possibly even things you excelled at with your previous character now come even easier to his new one? the tricky but essential part is figuring the exact procedure applying this to npcs. Given enough rebirths you could have some really epic enemies. 2.You die with nothing for your soul to latch on to and so you start over without as many (if any) benefits of re rebirthing, while meanwhile some of the npcs have rebirthed during this time, making the world a more threatening place to you. 3.You tap into some of the rare roads of immortality. Advantage here being you have much more time to continue improving while others continue to cycle. Downside being you wont be receiving rebirth benefits like faster rate of learning or improved potential, also having to cope with whatever stipulations that came attached with your immortality. Have i missed something? is there already a mod similar to this concept? if not is there maybe at least a mod that gives enemy a bit more shape, puts them on closer footing to the player so they may serve as more as a rival rather than fodder?

i see, thankyou so much for being so incredibly informative. I had planned on playing the game at least once through before researching mods, but then after realizing you couldn't have her in party i was just like wtf..... You guys inspired me not to drop the game completely since you say her involvement is pretty fantastic xD i played about 50+hours in 3 days.... I think i'll take a break, enjoy some dao if need be, but will eventually come back to finish dai's story since you guys say it's pretty good. Also before i do that i'll poke my head into a couple places and see how far along these mod tools are, maybe if i get lucky when i pick it back up she can actually be in my party. ;3 ty again man. -

You made allot of interesting points i never noticed. I actually find Sara quite funny, and her jokes are the only thing that kept me goin on the hunt for Morrg. So do you think there is a possibility i could completely have say Vivine's textures swapped out with Morrg's? or if not doable i would even take swaping textures out with dorian, tho that would present more conflictions like voice weirness... I know it seems trivial, but i'll probably take a break from dai for a while, and get da fill from the original for a bit if i can't find a way to resolve this xD Those bastards, why would they not make her recruit-able? after the level of f*#@ing with my feels they did in 2... with the only reference to her was Flemith being like "that's not important right now" when you ask about Morg, or some such nonsense like that. T.T Actually shocked i haven't located more cases of nerds whining about this. super sad stuff. -
I'm shocked there isn't more people who have talked about this, it's just devastating to me... to the point of almost not wanting to finish the game meow if it weren't for seeing how her involvement in all this pans out. Game is worlds better than da2 for me at least, but for cereal... Meow, i don't want any spoilers but i heard at the end of the game you may get her in your party or something? If that's the case is their a possibility of in some way having her in my party all the time? I don't even give a s#*! if i can't customize anything like skills, gear, or tacts on her, just so long as she's in the party. plz help T.T

So, i was wondering... I;ve seen pretty decent perfect cell, and goku models around. Would it be doable to do something like add say 7 npcs that roam around skyrim that each have a dragonball? Something like 1:Broly (Everytime your like "wtf just happened, how did i die?!" That was just Broly flying by, Destroying everything. Every idea to take him out is pretty much off the table he's so op. The only way to subdue him if it's atall possible would be by teaming up with Goku, and when i say teaming up, i mean mostly debuffing Broly while trying not to die, while making sure the battlefield is adequately supplied with all the snacks Goku should require. Aggro:Tries to Navigate towards Goku, but isn;t quite as fast, and usually needs to stop for a moment every meow and then to yuno... destroy everything in the vicinity, and yell Kakarot a bunch. 2:Bulma (uses gadgets, and science to be able to do things like turn invisible, Create barrier with decent resistance since she could probably take no more than one or two blows from a dagger, or be susceptible to a poison attack without it. ability to slow down, or silence the player, possibly even calling upon Whis if she stays alive to long after going going below hp trigger, this could always easily be tossed together as a falling white light ending your life or something, Bulma op) Aggro:non-aggressive would generally prefer to flee than risk her life, or fight someone. 3.Cell (Should be basically impossible for anyone to find a way to beat this guy) Aggro:May or may not aggro you, Also peruses Goku, but not in quite of an aggressive, or persistent of manor as Broly. 4:Goku (Even in only base form at this point the fight should feel pretty impossible to the player, broken amounts of hp, defense, attack, speed) Aggro:Difficult to provoke, rampages about skyrim tracking down and eating all the food. If being engaged in battle is preventing consumption of more food for to long he will just teleport away. 5:#18 (Poisoning is no longer an option, and almost all sorts of attacks would be completely useless you have something pretty gamebreaking, could possibly convince Bulma to help you make a remote to disactivate her ~_^) Aggro:Easily Angered 6:Krillin (move up to someone a normal human could never take down, but a slight possibility in the world of skyrim. as a non hostile human you could possibly poison him, or if you are really that broken op in the game you could make it an epic duel.) Aggro:non-aggressive 7:Choutsu, Yamcha, Raditz, yagarobi, mr.satan. (There's allot of people the 7th ball could be, one of the weaker choices would be interesting, fighting someone like Mr.Satan who is one of the strongest humans, would get you prepared for the idea of that insane power scaling difference.) Aggro:non-aggressive tbh i care less about the wish, or shenron, or anything like that compared to the adventure, and ideas of these dudes existing in skyrim, right? I won't even get into the fact that i think Bulma could take Broly since technically science was was brought about his demise in the end, however i just feel like he would be more terrifying in skyrim considering Bulma probably wouldn't aggro like Broly would. I know it sounds ambitious, but i think allot of people would love the s#*! out of something like this, also you could probably get some really quality voices for something like this since tfs would likely be over the moon about a dbz mod on that scale.

We have a super sexy Vader mask, we have sabers, we even have super sithy dark clothing. Indeed the only thing preventing us from turning off run, and walking around like Vader himself is force choke. please oh great nerd gods, grant us force choke.

Destructible Skyrim [WIP]

hey man, i saw your mod and thought it was really ambitious. I was trying to think of a way to solve this whole destroying storage's thing. best thing i could come up with was if the storage space has to many items it will poop out like 10-20 of them, and kill you with the items... be kinda funny... but really wouldn't be the best solution, especially for people like me that have permadeath.... still super funny tho. I was talking about this with my room mate and he had a really good idea, basically if a storage is destroyed, for every so many items in a storage space it will make another storage item? xD the idea will need a little working with for something weird like say a situation where a repetitive area attack was to go off.... now things sound a bit scary. Anyway, if you still are kickin around ideas i thought we could share a couple. can't wait to try out your fancy mod. -
Yea, it's like no matter what i do.. i got this game back on 11.11.11, and i then dled it and threw a bunch of mods on there, played for about 8 months experimenting with those mods fine. Now i pick it back up, thinking "hey, there must me so much more s#*! now." Soon come to realize i need a patcher to make the game newer version for most mods to work, so i did all that correctly, and the game can run moddless fine. but idk, done mod tiking, uninstalling mods/the whole program, and reinstals of skyrim a few times, can't get it to work. these are the mods i tryed in the last run. Skyrim.esm Update.esm ApachiiHair.esm ApachiiHairStyles.esp CZHCAD.esp 3DNPC.esp Kitiara.esp and i usually try with these last two on, but have also tested a bit shutting off. pure waters, and flora overhaul. i get random crashes pretty frequently in game to.

[Who, are you?] so when you're selecting race "Jordan Dreyer" would be an option, and if you pick him you can't edit appearance or anything, it just starts you as Jordan. -you start the game with a crazy overmaxed speech skill. -all shoes are unequipable. [oh? Jordan Dreyer?... no, no you're fine just go ahead and go, i'm sorry for the inconvenience.] [no,no it's fine you go ahead and go, actually, you know what here, take my sword] just walk out of Helgen , get a quest complete thing. yea... but for cerealisly you guys.... that would be badass

A bit harsh if you ask me. Some people just don't have the money to buy a full priced game. Other people bought it on the Xbox or Playstation and wanted it for the pc aswell so they could have some mods. I think your comment on 'thief's' was a bit to harsh as your role as moderator. Anyway, i'm with the same problem guys.... Cant find any solution. Graphic mods work fine but real content wont. (Like 'A Better Whiterun' or 'Rayeks End' Being a thief is actually what it is. Just as advocating piracy is a ban worthy offense on here. Not having the money or owning the game on another system is not an excuse to steal on PC and your time on this site is up. "or is it easier to hide your ears from that which will make them bleed?"
