I might have not been here in a while, but it is widely known, that is I, reinventor if the fishystick...
And what of the one who did the actual improvement of it?
You take credit for your own dealings, I'll take credit for mine, good sir.

I might have not been here in a while, but it is widely known, that is I, reinventor if the fishystick, who am the most renown and Toppish member of them all, kudos or not.
So award me my damn Throne of Awe; I'm a dateless dork with no social life.

Hey, there's a dude over 60 here! Woohoo! Oh...he isn't dead is he?

The Virginia Tech shooter had a recorded mental illness, yet the firearms vendor that sold him the guns didn't have to check whether his customer was sane or not.
A couple of hours after the shooting, Jack Thompson comes out and says that video games were most certainly the motivator for the shooting. He said this BEFORE the police performed a search of the shooters apartment and if I recall correctly, haven't found a single game.
Video games are just a good thing for society to shift blame towards for its own failures.

Well like Vagrant said, some can't make the distinction between a game and reality. In some cases, that comes from either a lack of knowledge about the subject or a psychological disorder and some of those people are highly impressionable.
Somebody plays...say Postal 2, and finds it unbelievably cool to stick a cat on a shotgun, so gets his family cat, gets his dad's shotgun and plays some RL postal! I remember reading a newspaper article about some guys that were so into the Matrix, that they dressed up all leather and coats, packed a ludicrous amount of weaponry and stood in the middle of the highway, blasting away at cars.
Video games are, by all standards, the paramount achievement of escapism. Who wouldn't want to be a medieval hero, swinging his shiny sword around, destroying evil and hoarding massive amount of gold and jewels? Problem is, for some people simulated environments provide much more pleasure than reality, which is their fault, as much as it is the fault of the society that provides confusing and often multiple standards for socializing, entertainment and the pursuit of pleasure and happiness in whichever way.
Edited a bit :P

They should send him to Guantanamo Bay for interrogation. He's obviously a terrorist in the making. C'mon , he made a map for a COMPUTER GAME. With GUNS! And BLOOD! And people who DIE! AND he's Asian. Clear markings of a terrorist. He is the evilest person in the world.
Evil, evil, evil computer game addicted, map making, sword wielding, terrorist wannabe boy. Evil.

I fear that, unfortunately, this is probably just another rumor. There have been so many examples of D3 hysteria that I'm sure that everyone has found at least one post or article saying sth like "OMG! I saw, like this, like, article, on this gaming site, and like, it said that, like, they're making Diablo 3! OMG!"
There was a pretty nifty joke about this in a gaming magazine in my country couple of months ago. They claimed that Blizzard had selected them to pick 40 people for beta testing D3. IIRC, there were tons of applicants. Mass hysteria, mass effect, call it whatever you like. I found it funny. Some people, who applied, however, didn't. :)

I don't think that any of the monsters are scary, but some can realy freak you out. The first time I rested in the wilderness I was level 2 and my rest was interrupted by a bloody Kagouti. When I turned around and saw the ugly thing I practicaly screamed and threw the mouse at the screen. I lost a good mouse that day. :bye:

IIRC, the fishystick I used wasn't transparent and that would be the one I'm referring to. I simply used yours later on because it looked nicer.
So you are the Submitter of the Improved and Transparent Fishystick. GET THIS MAN A THRONE!
