  1. I use TES5Edit on a regular basis, most mods are cleaned by hand. My load order is based on BOSS but edited for personal preference. Found out that the camp was added by Interesting NPC's. Therefore it has to be a mod conflicting with it (placing static's in the same spot or something like that)
  2. Hey guys, I would describe myself as a fairly experienced mod-user and load order organizer. But at the moment I'm at a loss. My game is as stable as it gets, safe for a small part of the map going north from the Roadside Ruins (north-west of Falkreath). My compass shows a camp (Glathriel's Camp) ahead that is not present in the vanilla game as far as guide maps on the internet are concerned. You can find my load order in the Spoiler below. Files like "Armor.esp" are merged files of simple mods that shouldn't add anything to a worldspace... Skyrim itself is up-to-date, SKSE version is the latest non-alpha. If you find any glaring oversights on my behalf or need any additional info, please tell me. Any help will be greatly appreciated  Greets Cowoner Edit: Thanks to Georgiegril for the spoiler tutorial ^^
  3. I would prefer the skirt version as well; fits in better with the rest of the armors in Skyrim though I would recommend to keep the trousers under the skirt (its pretty cold in this land I heard ^^). But I also have another suggestion: If you look at the guy in the trailer, you can see that he has this little stripe of cloth in the middle at the front. You can see it in the bottom left corner of the pic you linked in your first post between his legs. The Avatar of Grenth by newermind43 has a great example of the thing I mean: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/23165 You could add one of these in the front and one on the back. This way you could have a hybrid of your two suggestions  I am anxious to see this armor when its finished!
  4. I know, but with the new savegame and Dynavision removed everything is fine in that matter. Edit: acidzbra, I tried your 2 cents but the result is the same. I crash after about 20 minutes
  5. The SoS mods did cause problems to some but I didn't have them. Furthermore everybody who uninstalled them got problems, so I don't think I will remove those  DSpSoB is the DG version and as I stated in my first post I use a replacer for the Monstermod v9 and as the note says: Obsolete only if using the original mod. I understand that I have to use it... Concerning the Bandolier: I'll have to look... Edit: Yes, both are required for it to work like I want it to
  6. Recognised Plugins: Unrecognised Plugins:
  7. It can not be related to drivers for I played with them for quite some time without problems. I usually terminate anything that I don't need for the game, including plugging out my external media harddrive and my second monitor. The only thing I don't do is playing in offline mode... It has to have something to do with the mods or the loadorder: I had to make a new character because the last one had massive savegame bloat (200+ mb anyone? :psyduck: ). While at it I added two new mods (Morning Fogs and Tales of Lycanthropy) and tried a new loadorder, that a thread here on nexus suggested as working correctly. Well, it didn't, so I reverted to good old BOSS and reordering unrecognised plugins by hand. But the CTD's didn't want to leave...
  8. I get pretty random crashes every 20-30 minutes. As far as I know it doesn't matter where I am, though I only was in the area around Morthal (mainly the quest concerning the burned house). My system specs are as follows: Intel i5 480M dualcore at 2,8-3,2 Ghz Nvidia GT540m 1Gb 4Gb RAM Windows 7 64-bit I have the latest Version of SKSE installed and use HiAlgoboost. No ENB. Loadorder: I sorted it with BOSS and applied some custom rules. The Bashed Patch was rebuilt after I ordered the Loadorder. The Skymomod you see here is one of the Lore-friendly and others Replacers. I properly cleaned every Plugin that Boss suggested with TES5Edit. As I can't think of anything else that could be of interest for this matter now my question: Do I overlook any obvious conflicts? Do you have any idea where my problem originates? Edit: SkyUI is version 3 alpha.
  9. Go forth verteiron, I love your spells
  10. I know that the original mod doesn't require specific weapons  . My line was rather special mage weapons (think Kingdoms of Amalur style) that you could possibly attain at the college of winterhold which don't deal much melee damage but give off their magic blasts like in the mod you mentioned
  11. I think crowd-control spells are seriously lacking in Skyrim. Dragon Age would probably be a good source for new spells, I personally love the force-mage spells of Dragon Age 2: Fist of the maker: Lifts enemies in the targeted area into the air and smashes them to the ground. (ignores armor) Telekinetic burst: The mage summons a wave of telekinetic force that hurtles enemies away from the core of the blast. Pull of the Abyss: The mage conjures a maelstrom of energy that draws enemies to its center while slowing them to a crawl. Gravitic Ring: The mage redirects the gravity in an area to significantly reduce enemies' speed. The closer an enemy is to the center of the spell, the greater the effect. These spells, especially the first one, give the feeling of being mighty. They are brute force, they don't have big visual effects but just grab your enemies and throw them around. Others: Cone of Cold: A cone of deadly ice shoots forth from the mage's hands to injure and slow opponents. Crushing Prison: The mage traps a target in a collapsing cage of telekinetic force, inflicting a great deal of damage over a short time. Walking bomb: The mage curses an enemy with an effect that turns the victim's own body into a weapon. If the enemy dies while the spell is still active, it explodes, harming all other foes nearby. Stonefist: The mage hurls a stone projectile that strikes with massive force. (Descriptions mostly taken from the Dragon Age wiki) Suggestion: contact verteiron (http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/modules/members/index.php?id=4118075). He made the Ice Wall and Earth Prison spells which are unique and fun to use. Maybe you could start a cooperation on this project. I hope you can live up to your expectations and I'm looking forward to your mod  Edit: I would strongly support yota71's proposal but I think this could be a mod in its own right if you create special weapons that cast these spells on weaponswing  -Cowoner
  12. It made my game playable again... I'm using many mods and after patch 1.5 my game was unplayable it took about 6 secs to turn around because of lag :D I tried the utility and now I have pretty smooth framerates. Thanks and Kudos to you
  13. Put some Mass Effect decisions and depth into the mix and you are good to go :D I think that Oblivion just had its dreamy near perfect setting. The nordic, cold setting of Skyrim is not for everybody. I personally prefer Skyrim by far. I like the setting much more than Oblivion's and on top of that it just looks gorgeous! It really lacks depth, or substance as someone else said, but thank god we have mods ;) I'm pretty sure that we will see these in the major questmods, maybe in some of the smaller ones too, and if Bethesda is able to produce something with the glory of the shivering isles I'm looking forward to the future bigger DLCs. -Cowoner
  14. The story about the mountain thing is true. Somewhere up in the mountains near falkreath you can find a shack with targets infront of it. Inside the shack there is a woman called Angi. She is able to train you in archery in exactly the manner you described. She gives you tasks and training gear and after completion of each task you get one level up in your archery skill. So, in case anybody wants to do it: I think this would be a good point to start. I would greatly appreciate if this mod would get its chance :)
  15. Well, the first thing that jumps to my mind would be FRAPS. It's free and most people use it to either have their fps shown in game or to capture videos of the game. On a side note: Is it a possibility that you release some kind of an alpha version of your mod or is it to buggy at the moment?
  16. Would love this mod as well though I don't know in which weapon catergory it would belong... Here are two pics: http://www.dragonagenexus.com/imageshare/images/883766-1300410298.jpg (found at the dragonage-nexus) http://www.rpgitalia.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/10/Staff-e1286188590951.jpg (from trailer) As a staff I would use the fireball enchant. As two-handed weapon ebony stats would be appropiate. At least in my opinion...
  17. Hm, this is a really strange problem. I personally don't have any experience with things like this but as far as my knowledge goes a fluid walking animation consists of iterations of the same animation. Look out for a modifier which defines how often and under which circumstances the animation is played. But as I said I don't know anything about the specific mechanics.
  18. @ Dominus Malum: Here you are: http://www.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=95
  19. Hey there, I recently installed the "Realistic Lighting without Post-Processing" mod and found that the radius of the spell candlelight (and magelight as well) is very small. You can see about 1.5 meters ahead and after that it is all black... Could somebody please increase the radius of these two spells? I would appreciate it very much and I suppose others will too.
  20. @ daventry: Not sure if this might be something for you. It does what you said but also a couple of things more: http://www.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=2700
  21. @QuintonBeck: The mod you are looking for is probably Crafting 300: http://www.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=2933
  22. Ok, I think someone should clear this up again: This is not a request thread! You can ask for mods of which you know that they have been created. Asking for something else won't give you any answers. On topic: some days ago I saw a mod that was a mash-up of the ancient nord armor (breastplate and pauldrons) and the scaled armor (skirt). I also know that there was a screenshot of it at the imageshare. Unfortunately I can't find this mod. If anybody would be up to the task? Edit: @ piouspagan: this mod should meet your requirements http://www.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=3120
  23. Hello guys, after installing gibbed's "Non-playable Armor"-Mod and visiting the testinghall I noticed that there is a alternative Thieves Guild hood. It looks like a hood I found inside one of the DB hideouts and I found it looks much better than the one you get in vanilla. So, could somebody please swap these two hoods? Thanks in advance, Cowoner
  24. Alright then, thanks again Elder III. I think 30 fps will be enough for me :) And I understand your argument, but I just don't have the money for a desktop... If I did I would totally go for it. But anyways, you helped me with the decision wether to get it on pc or Xbox 360 (pc in this case) and I'm happy with it. Greets Cowoner
