Wow, that is a long post. But I do totally agree with you. I kinda wanted to make a mod where you could play as a synth, but after I learned that they are pretty much just humans that went out the window. The whole "are they more than machines" thing does kinda ring untrue now. Did you also notice how throughout the game they subtly try to tell you multiple times that they arent human? Like Glorys dialogue for instance. Why not just MAKE them not human then lol. PS. maybe put a summary at the beginning of the post? i dunno
