"Alpha software is computer software that is still in the early testing phase. It is functional enough to be used, but is unpolished and often lacks many of the features that will be included in the final version of the program. The "alpha phase" of software development follows the early programming and design stages, but precedes the "beta phase" in which the software closely resembles the final version. Since the alpha phase is an early part of the software development cycle, alpha software typically includes significant bugs and usability issues." This was literally in the first few paragraphs. This is in Alpha, and so bugs are to be expected, as is lack of functionality. You were forewarned about the state of Vortex and yet you still felt the need to complain for the sake of complaining. You may want to wait until Vortex reaches Beta, or even Final Release if you expect it to work with all functionality.

Okay, thanks. I uninstalled 4gb Fallout New Vegas and opted for the for 4GB Fallout New Vegas 'Updated' and set it 'Ru.n as Administrator' and all works fine now. This topic can be locked as my problems have been solved.

EDIT: Problem has now been solved after running FNVEdit. Disabled a few obsolete patches and also disabled ADAM. If you'll permit me I have another quick question regarding 4GB Fallout New Vegas. Once you run the 4GB launcher is it normal for the Fallout New Vegas 'splash' screen to appear? Hey guys, I was wondering if any of you would be able to help me. I've recently re-installed F:NV and added a bunch of mods, but I am having trouble loading the game. It simply starts for a few seconds then crashes, and I get the Fallout New Vegas has stopped working icon. I suspect this may have something to do with my load order, but after running BOSS a few times and checking my load order everything seems to be fine. My current load order is shown in the spiler tab. I'm using NVSE but running the game with the New Vegas 4GB launcher. My hardware is fine as I ran the game with no trouble without any mods and I have all the latest drivers. If any of you can help me that would be great.
