  1. That information doesn't seem to be correct. I looked up more information on him and listened to some of his samples and they definitely don't sound the same. Have a listen for yourself. This is Dexion Evicus as he sounds in-game. (ignore the sillyness of the video, it was the best sample of his voice I could find.) His voice can best be heard at length, starting at about 1:00 in the video. And this is a voice demo for Richard Epcar, likely for auditions and casting. His more "performance-y" and "character-like" voices start at 1:15 in the video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SquYojX4JOU If you check Richard Epcar's wikipedia page, it lists him as having a credit in Skyrim, but only as Lokir of Rorikstead.
  2. It's driving me absolutely maaaaddd!!! Dexion Evicus is the Moth Priest featured in Dawnguard, and his voice was instantly familiar to me as soon as I heard it. Google search and both TES wiki's have absolutely no information on his voice actor that I could find though. I've been trying my hardest to remember where I've heard his voice before, but I can't figure it out. My memory is telling me he was either in another video game, perhaps one by bethesda, or maybe even a tv show, perhaps an anime. Can anyone help to end my torment!? :yucky:
  3. I've been trying to research this and haven't been able to find anything on the subject. We all know the DISPLAYED armor cap for the PC is 567, because every piece of armor worn increases your armor rating by a hidden 25 for each piece. ( http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Armor ) My question is whether or not NPC's also benefit from this hidden bonus. Attempting to use console command "getav damageresist" is fruitless, as using that on the PC will still only show the same value as your displayed armor rating in-menu. I'm trying to find the answer to this because I'm planning on increasing the armor rating of all NPC's (creatures, undead, wildlife included) via the Deadly Monsters add-on provided by Deadly Dragons to make Armor-Nullifying perks more useful. Knowing whether or not armor-wearing NPC's benefit from this hidden value will help me to keep things balanced and use balanced numbers. Thanks!
  4. Hello all. I recently noticed that whenever I'm moving from a bright area to a dark area, or if I'm fighting a dragon out in the plains in the middle of the night and he fills my face with a breath of fire, my game tries to over compensate an emulation of lighting glare. The screen becomes blindingly dark, and I can't see a damn thing. I remember seeing a mod somewhere that claimed to fix this, but I can't seem to find it anywhere. Does anyone know where to point me in the right direction to find a fix for this?
  5. Wow thanks for the screens mate! This all makes sense. I suppose that's something I'll have to look into later in the future when I know more about scripting. Or maybe perhaps some scripting genius that happens to walk through here will share some knowledge with us...... :)
  6. Outstanding, thank you very much. This was exactly what I was looking for. I've got another question though. Where would I find all the values that go into the hawks that fly around in the sky? The ones that you can shoot down and loot feathers and beaks from. They don't seem to have a DeathItem list and I can't find them under actor.
  7. I appreciate your help BigDon and your attempt to answer my question. :) But unfortunately, this doesn't really answer it. Is there anyone out there a little more experienced with the CK that knows how to do what it is that I'm asking?
  8. Okay my question then, is how do I access that DeathItem list and alter their contents. I want to change those DeathItem lists and also create some new ones.
  9. I thought it was this simple, but I figured I was wrong because I went to add an item this way to a black bear, and his inventory list is empty. It doesn't list the things he might normally drop, like gold or a bear pelt. Where are those things listed? And how do you set the item to have a % chance to drop instead of a guarenteed drop everytime.
  10. Very simple question, how do you add items to a dead actors loot list. I'm creating new items and I can't figure out how to do this. Can anyone point me in the right direction?? Thanks! :)
  11. Hello everyone, let me first apologize if this isn't the appropriate place to post. I wasn't sure if this should go here or under Mod Requests. So I want to create a new mod and I'm not entirely sure how to do it. What I want to do is pretty specific and I couldn't find any tutorials (text or video) on how to do what I want to do. So let me outline what I want to accomplish and hopefully a few kind souls will point me in the right direction or even know where the appropriate tutorial can be found. 1) I want to add several new items that drop from various creatures and wildlife, specifically meats and other things used for cooking. 2) I want to create new recipes that use the cooking spit and consume these new and already existing ingredients. 3) I want food and general vendors to start selling these meats from their inventory. 3) If possible create new textures and object models for these new items, either myself or through the collaboration of another artist. 4) I want the change in gameplay that my mod creates to be realistic and intuitive. 5) *Hopefully* get Imp of the Perverse to make my new recipes and items compatible with his IMCN mod. I have a general understanding of how to create new items and how to create new recipes, but I can't figure out how to make these new items drop from their respective actor. For example, make the Grizzly Bear I just killed start dropping Raw Bear Meat. Any information you folks are willing to share with a new modder would be greatly appreciated. Cheers! :)
  12. I said nothing about wild animals being aggresive. Most wild animals will run the second a human approaches them. And im talking WILD. I wonder just how wild these animals were if you could walk from your house to get to them.
  13. I've got nothing against wanting more personality and interaction from your game, but... You ever try to pet or feed a wild animal?? Good luck trying to cuddle with Bambi.
